The conversation was just starting to get interesting and then suddenly it has made me want to vomit!!!

I wish Werribee where paying their players!! It would make me feel a bit better about the football lesson they gave us throughout the year, but obviously it isn't true, and congrats on them for making the jump to C grade, i wish it had happened last year (as it should have), because they are clearly too good for D1!!

Bloodsy, I know you love to hate too.

You also like to pump the werribee tyres too.

Good luck to your boys down in D2 - GIve Westbourne a touch up for us will ya!

They are not too well liked down our way.

Who is winning this week and why?

I am tipping Monash but not by much.

Been some close results with these two this year.

Would not be suprised if Nobs get the choccies.

They seem to play better against the better sides. Will be interesting.

Thoughts?

TT - did you see them play against Werribee at home this year!!!? dreadful.

- although i do believe they have a fair chance if they are on their day against Monash - i think whoever has a day out will win.

- both matches these two have played in have been wet.

- Not sure what NOBS are going to do about Smyth

- Not sure what Monash plan on doing about Keown.

- the bonus that these two teams will have is they can then go in next week, wary they have been promoted with nothing to lose on the last day in..

- A couple of big INs hopefully added to strengthen the side from last week hopefully.

- NOBS by 9 points.

Monash will be too polished for NOBS and will win well. I'd love the result to be 1 point with both sides slogging it out. All the best to both sides and let the best team win

I think Monash should win, but will need to work hard to shut down the considerable forward strength that NOBs have. Think Monash will have a few play who weren't around for the last game with NOBs and this will make the difference. Crap weather forecast which might make it nice and tight. Can't wait.

A nice little hit out for the boys today, no injuries and excellent further match fitness for all those that didn't get up for the previous werribee game. A few more key ins for the grand final so we will field our best team for the year and look forward to turning the tables on werribee when it counts the most.

Come on Trev, you can take the lid off a bit!! Terrific performance from the first bell yesterday, gave NOBs no chance to get going (what were they thinking with poor old Sleepy??). Frater, Young, McKenzie excellent and special mention to Kade Collins who had a real crack. Really looking forward to having another go at the rested up Bees in a big Monash double header day out.

Great effort to bounce straight back up, credit to all at the Club.

PS Don't think one ex-president will be parking his car in the bog on the hill next time around, took 20 reserves players to get him out. Might have been easier if he had got out of the car, lightening the load by 120kg!!

i'll give u the tip 'les' (you're not the real les argen), don't be to happy about the victory and the promotion. going up without the premiership is one of the emptiest feelings going around in football. the real les would never talk of such things.

Come on North you depressing old man, give us one day to enjoy the sparkling effort in winning a prelim by 10gls!! Then we reload and go all out to win the flag (two flags even).

About time we had something to get excited about - first finals campaign since 2004!!

Les out (the 100% genuine article).

Les

The lid is officially off ! That was awesome Saturday. The wetter and boggier - the more the boys love it - same venue same mudheap this Saturday - several Bees were cramping up in the 2nd semi so don't know how they have improved their match fitness in the last fortnight. Many of our boys much better for the solid hit out and should be cherry ripe. Hopefully the ressies boys do the right thing first up. What a day looming!

believe me fake les - i know all about the blues last finals outing. you don't.

Trevor, werribee out ran monash 3 times this year. Twice in bog. The week off will freshen the tiges up and they will be cherry ripe to knock off monash for the third time in a row.

If werribee kick straight, it could be a drubbing.

Agree with you TT, Werribee by far the best side is D1, not as good as Rupertswood's last year but that is a different debate, They derserve their promotion and will flog Monash,

Congratulations to Monash, like Rupertswood they were able to bounce straight back up, terrific club,

Good luck to both sides,

I have to disagree, i think Werribee of this year are far better than Rupertswood of last year, but it is hard to compare but thats just my thoughts anyway. One thing we do agree on is this weeks result! If both teams play at 100% i think Werribee will win by 10+ goals!! Even at 70% they will be too good!! TT you might as well get the celebrations ready!!

Not quite that confident. I'm sure the boys will be firing ready to go on Saturday.

If there is not much rain this week, and the ground fastens up, werribee should smash them, but soft and sloppy grounds will bring monash back in with a chance.

Good luck to both teams, just more luck to the tigers. Who deserve it, but haven't quite earned it.

Rain, hail or shine tiges will be on their game even with the Monash inclusions. Reckon there will be some changes at tigerland also.
Don't think the boys will turnover the ball like last time. Tiges by a point

Chance for a spot in the forward pocket Louie?

After a stirring victory against nobs (a poorly motivated side, and altogether i hear a pushover) i believe the ashes have what it takes to take it up to bee's and move up to c grade in style

It's a long drive back to the sewage plant - I hope for Werribee's sake they don't choke again this year...

Glad to see ur going for the tiges then.

Werribee are 1 from 1 for grand finals at the snakepit. Looking at keeping 100% record

What you talkin bout willis?:D
Tiges will need to keep on eye on Beck, Smyth, Coe, McKenzie etc. Have heard a BIG in for the tiges with a specialist to line up on Beck

I reckon monash will need to keep their eye on a few more.

They have come up short against the tiges 3 times and after they threw the kitchen sink at them. Tiges are rested, monash are not. Werribee may have been complacent in the first final, won't be again.

Werribee still had 10 more scoring shots than monash, tells me the result could have been 10 goals rather than 10 points, probably moreso in-between.

Werribee will fire, as they have in all but one of Thier games, the one being when they had plenty out, where as monash can be a bit hit or miss(lost 7 games).

Monash are a good team. Werribee are just better, but will need to play well to win.
