Big news to hurt panther land. cochrane out for 4 weeks did his shoulder at training. will really hurt panthers chances of making the 4. back luck for the boys at panther land.

the obviously breed them tough out at keysie, to do his shoulder and only miss 4 weeks?

he's not too happy, looks more like a 5-7....

Slow work day today, so here's the D1 team of the year at the half way mark just to spark a bit of debate that's not related to Scribe and Harps' flirting or Old Mentonian boys talking cryptic nonsense.

B: Malpas (OG) Hosking (NOBS) Tehan (BT)
HB: Thompson (OM) Fairbairn (OG) Savage (YV)
C: Rees (Pen) Florance (BT) Villarosa (SM)
HF: Adams (NOBS) Cochrane (OM) Cheevers (SM)
F: Greenham (Pra) Keem (YV) Matthews (BT)
FOLL: Meighan (Fitz) Beven (Pra) Gleeson (Fitz)
INT: Barker (NOBS) Biggs (Fitz) Casboult (OG) Cherbakof (BT)

Rip into it all you like...

Well done Roy - aside from the efforts of the reserves, you couldn't be further from the truth.

I expected nothing else.

Look foward to some more regular updates from inside your INNER RECTUM :thumbsu:

Scribe, i hear that if you ignore misbehaved children and animals that they adjust their behaviour until you reinforce good behaviour. maybe you should try it on roy, although which category he falls into....

Not a bad effort...however:

Not too sure Savage desevres a spot(they aren't travelling too well) - maybe Pietryk or Tourgiannis
Don't remember Villarosa??
Branigan probably deseves a spot somewhere....maybe ahead of Barker (much of a muchness!)
Biggs on the ground - swap with Bevan.
Rombotis probably deserves a spot - 18 goals in 7 games spending time in the middle...maybe instead of Ugly Dermie!!:D

Better than last year's effort by the Scribe... ruckmen on wings and half back flanks wasn't overly realistic Fraser.

Yep - totally agree.

Still, I reckon I'd make a better fist of it this year, now that I've seen pretty much everyone in the comp actually play!!

Anyhow, that's Peter's job once again, and I guess I'll get to embarass myself with an attempt at the C section TOTY. Hopefully being able to recall most of the better players form season 2007 will ensure ruckmen don't end up on wings and flanks this time around. ;)

You may be ahead of your time Frase, playing ruckmen on the flanks could revolutionise the game, I'm willing to give it a crack in my desperate search for our first 4 points and I, or someone from Bulleen Temp will no doubt post the results tomorrow night.

Now as for turning Full Forwards into on-ballers? Please, are you running a fever Blade?

Couple of upsets yesterday with BT going down to SMD and OGGs falling to Prahran. Brings 2nd thru 5th tighter, and certainly gives Reds and OMs an extra sniff of not only finals, but a slim chance of a 2nd semi. Should be a ripping final 2 months as the upsets start to come thick and fast.

Still, NOBSPC just continue to get the job done. Plenty of daylight between them and the rest.

OM's are home with a wet sail now with some big ins and all playing well on the weekend.

Big game this week at panther pit when OM's take on NOBS.

Disagree Bro, while there were upsets a plenty over the whole comp BT were very good and only fell behind the districts when Tulloch (sic) went off injured. Seemed to upset their balance a little with Burridge being used more often on the ball which left their wing a tad exposed. IMO BT are still the team to beat, Florence #33 is just awesome although a few SMD boys including Spanna can hold their heads high after some bone jarring tackles on the big centreman. From where I stood it was a Fugking great game!

Thanks to the BT boys who stuck around for beers, Cheers!

The five changes to the NOBSPC senior side on the weekend were due to injury, not sure what presti is carrying on about. Certainly not getting ahead of ourselves, very even section as Aquinas showed by nearly rolling us on Saturday.

Great to see the NOBs 2's getting up by a few points....must be a few in a row now. Are the wheels of the juggernaut starting to turn Cameo King?

What the....?
They lost the 1st game, and have won 8 of their last 9 since then.
The wheels out at NOBSPC have been turning pretty quickly for the past 2 + months in my book.

or just like they were going to against SMD ?
HAHA, clown!! Only good thing about OM is the ground that you get to play on,

Good to see NOBS ad Reds winning their fair share again,

Not really winning our share - NOBSPC are being too greedy. Not fair!! :D
