Old Ment over Prahran by 10 pts (would have tipped the other way if the coach hadn't done the ACL)
Old Geelong over Fitzroy by 3 pts
Yarra Valley over NOBS by 22 pts with Keem kicking 12.
Bulleen Temp over Aquinas by 50 pts
Sth Melb over Peninsula by 36 pts

Even if Keem kicks 12 they will lose by 12 cos they have too many multiple goal kickers to cover...
nobs by 12 goals!

C'mon Mappa, everyone in D1 knows that while Jimmy and Fraser move the magnets and cones around at Fitzroy they don't do it until number 23 has been consulted.

Having the 1's in third and the 2's on top, well that really is a crap effort! Lift!
Harps, have you got permission to post on here again?

went out to watch the panthers yesterday, and again d teasdale has done is hamstring, maybe he shood do more recovery each weeek? or speeky are your boys fit enough? maybe not if he keeps breaking down, or is he past it, will he see out the season or will he hang them up. interesting to see wat happens.
a great win by panthers.

12 goals from Keem and they would have won but I notice he didn't play. Any word on why he didn't play?

Yep. I heard he was either injured, away or had a wedding on!!

12 forward 50 entries would be celebrated by Yarra at the moment

Daryl,
would be a bit hard for you to be at toorak park and elsternwick park at the same time maybe you should just worry about your team beauy and relegation than being concerned for another team other than your own..

Bad result for the Reds on Saturday. Their efforts, in wins and losses, in the past month have been pretty good, but their last quarter was very poor, and they didn't give a whimper. The fighting spirit they've shown all year went missing with their goalkicking boots.

Fraser, what sort of goal-kicking goes on at training these days ? Your boys like Pinkster, Dacca, Mappa and even Trigg seem to know where the goals are, but the seniors are terrible. So many easy shots in front were missed. I reckon they might have had a chance if they were in front at halftime, not behind. They seem to get more and more deflated with each miss.

Massive game this week down at Peninsula. Go Reds

BS,

I agree, our conversion in front of goal was as painful as OGGs was impressive. Frankly, had we not been 8.12 to 10.3 just before 3 qtr time, then those three quick ones to OGGs (which turned the 3 point margin into 21), wouldn't have put such a dent in the young fellas' confidence.

Fortunately the early Reds fixtures this season have been filled with more seasoned players who are able to hit targets around the ground and have set routines/rhythm for goal-kicking. I work on it quite a bit when we split the groups on Thursday, and in warm-ups so most guys are comfortable with their shots when the pressure is on. In reserves footy, more than 12 goals usually wins you the game, so you need to make every shot count (particularly in the close ones). Interestingly, the half-time score in the reserves game was Reds 10.3 to OGGs 5.7!! ;)

Our senior team is full to the brim with quicker, younger players, who are not necessarily producing consistently week in/out, but they're learning and its exciting to see their development month-by-month. I feel plenty of them fail to settle that last couple of steps when delivering/shooting and we'll work in this over the next month, which is where we make or break the club's season.

Through the quirk of the draw, we now play the teams currently in 8th, 10th, 9th and 6th - and simply must win all 4 if we're to make finals.

He was there, apparently just resting after playing the VIC match...
only 2 points in it at half time, then the Nobs Assistant Coach (playing) Matty Keown kicked 5 goals in the 3rd to put it away, he finished with 8 (all in the 2nd half).

From a man whos 0-9 and been told not to post on here Harps perhaps you should be a little less self indulgent with your sidekick on your you tube show!

Ease up BS - we may not all be best buddies on here, but that's not normally like you.

Rosco (aka Butch Cassidy) is now juggling coaching, playing, writing for the Amateur Footballer (U19 Premier) and co-hosting the show with me. He's doing plenty of good stuff to keep season 2008 rolling along in many departments.

Perhaps you'd consider helping us out and getting one of your mates from SKOB or STBMT to drop in some video footage or something else highly constructive like that? You have influence, and I'm sure you'd been as keen as we are to make the 'you tube show' an even better product.

Or have I got you all wrong?

Cheers

Thanks for the advice Brian, obviously the Chinese whispers have made it all the way to Righetti. While I may have been told to pull my head in, and not for the first time as I am a slow learner no bans have ever been mentioned.

So I have some advice for you, if you don't like what I'm doing don't watch the South magoos or ones, don't read Big Footy, don't watch the Ammo show and from next Saturday don't bother reading the record either as I'm sure what I've written there won't be up to your lofty standards.

Frase, was just responding to Harps need to be a smart arse when I asked a genuine question thats all...
You know I rate you.
Cheerio.

Brian, if you were asking a genuine question then apologies, but I would suggest you question the source of your info from time to time. Remember, he is quite bored these days and besides, the answer to your question was bloody obvious.

young boy you are very defensive of teasdales injury. i was not at elsternwick park, actually was watching my brother player for the panthers, all i was asking was he,teasdale going to give it away? his hamstring is pretty bad i hear. so thought he mite just help speeky coach?

we all no that you play at beauy in the 2nds and your brother plays in the clubbies there aswell so why dont you worry about relegation instead of worrying about a team you have no affiliation with.just because the panthers have 2 beauy blokes running around now especially must hurt seeing chris graham in the best for the panthers now...stick to the b section thread.

Wiltshire back this week as well OM's getting back to full strength soon and after a good win last week should start to hit form at the right time of the year...

Big news to hurt panther land. cochrane out for 4 weeks did his shoulder at training. will really hurt panthers chances of making the 4. back luck for the boys at panther land.

Good afternoon all,

do not concern yourselves with the minor glitch on the weekend, nothing to worry about there. We have a % booster next week and Scribes boys are slaying them in the magoos.

Enormous depth at the club both on and off the field, coaching panel gelling well together now and the 2nd half of the year will show the Reds dominance of Disaster Section.

the Red enjoyed the week off, and is refreshed. Look foward to some more regular updates from INSIDE the INNER SANCTUM of the BSO from the great one.

that is all

Well done Roy - aside from the efforts of the reserves, you couldn't be further from the truth.

I expected nothing else.

Look foward to some more regular updates from inside your INNER RECTUM :thumbsu:
