I'm coming from an outside position here, and do not see them play every week. But I think that the Lee brothers are both very overated down at Tiger land. I think that they are front runners, and that the only real skill they have over other average players in the comp is that that they are quick. I'm not saying that they are bad players, just that they are not as good as everyone out at Werribee think they are. Give me a Robertson, Bannister or Massis any day of the week.

What do other opposition people think.

All scribes are volunteers, and heavily involved in their own clubs. You should be thanking them for their time and commitment, not bagging them. I'm guessing you never even get off your arse to help your own club so i am probably wasting my time.

Ok then, u called them overated Cam 22 years old as averaged 50 goals a season since he started senior footy in 05 gets tagged every game and belted behind the play and Trent his brother 19 years old 2nd year in senior kicked 40 last year and has just under 50 this year and also gets tagged every week and belted behind the play aswell Umpires give them nothing. So i dont think there overrated at all. I believe trent has got best on ground the last 3 times vs Bentleigh.

And u said front runner ? doesnt that mean they only play well when the team does. Well the teams been goin very well the last few years.

Any team in the comp would love to have em both.

Ease up on the beltings mate - Im sure it std defensive pressure - we dont do anything like that so youre wrong on atleast 3 counts this year

Considering the focus the opposition have on them every week, i dont think you can ask much more of two blokes who win the footy on their own merits and kick goals. They dont play CHF or FF and have the ball pumped down their throats all day long.

And if the an oppositions focus was on two half forwards then that tells me that they are expecting the ball to be down their all day. The best way to keep them out of the game is to win it in the middle IMO. Thats what I would focus on!

Drifter, If I were playing against the Lee's, i would lay a late bump, throw them into the ground too. They are cheeky. Obviously hit a sore spot. Watch that video again, how many times are they dumped after they get rid of the ball. Happens every week comment was not so much as directed at ESL, but every game i go and watch, the same thing happens. Not saying that they dont always deserve it.

Other than that the game was played in a hard but fair spirit. There are a few Emmaus blokes lucky not to be in the book drifter. A couple of incidents on the wing right in front of everyone mate.

Obviously hit a sore spot, good luck to you blokes this weekend, Ivanhoe should be congratulated and I eagerly wait to see who else wins promotion this season.

Was a great game to watch. Emmaus threw everything at Werribee early, Then werribee slammed on about 9 goals, Emmaus clawed their way back to within 12 points, and then Werribee over ran them in the last to win by 7 goals. The scoreboard was not a reflection of the game. ESL were better than a 42 point loss. At one stage at the start of the 2nd quarter, i thought that it was going to be a blow out, but they fought back really well to prove why they finished top 2.

Great game to watch, Drifter, you can call me what you want...
