From the 50 metres away where I kicked the ball from it certainly looked like it cleared the line. ;)

Long time coming, but Abba finally debuted in the ones last week.:thumbsu:

That was a fair goal as far as set shots go. Must have been close to a goal with you first kick in senior footy Ab?

It's definitely not a case of big fish. West Bruns won 6 games last year and were extremely unlucky to be relegated. On the other hand, Kew had a terrible year and only won 1 game. Both sides are at least 10 goals better than what they had last year.

I know that Kew had 9 players last week in the seniors who didn't play last year and I'm sure WB had just as many. It was simply a case of trying to recruit and get both sides back on track. I'm sure all sides try and do that once they go down a grade.

The race is definitely not a race in 2, SFX have only lost 3 games, Mt L only 4 and Albert Park are definitely the form side of the comp.

It was only 3 weeks ago that Eley Park were 6 goals up against Kew just before half time. Let's not get carried away there is still a third of the season to go before finals. Anything can happen in amateur footy!

& all teams should do that before the start of the next season.

i havent heard anything about sfx - where have they come from, what are their colours & are they capable of knocking off wb & kew?

I think I may have gotten a kick away when getting slung in a tackle a few minutes prior, but for the purposes of having a story to tell down the track I didn't get boot to ball.

Beaconsfield. Club 18 in 2007. St Kilda style colours with some old school religious flair on the front. They won't beat either Kew or WB.

Kew and WB are clearly on equal footing now - both teams have beaten everyone else and only lost their away game to each other.

ALTHOUGH it only takes one upset in late August / early September and that all turns around very quickly.

For Mount Lilydale to make the GF they might actually have to beat a team above them which is yet to happen.

My Round 12 Tips

North Brunswick vs Box Hill North - BHN by 1 point
South Mornington vs Syndal Tally Ho - SM by 1 point
Richmond Central vs St Francis Xavier - SFX by 1 point
Mt Lilydale vs Eley Park -ML by 4 Goals
Albert Park vs Bulleen Cobras - AP by 5 Goals
Kew vs West Brunswick - Kew by 1 point

Some cracking games this round!

Got me how a few are doubting your powers of deduction Machine.
Last week you got the result and margin spot in BHN v NB game.
Were only one point away in the Snakes V SFX match.
And predicted the upset of the year so far.
Well done that man.:thumbsu:

This comment is quite laughable. 11 straight wins 8 of them by 100pts plus.

that shows that west brunswick are playing out of their league currently if they are doing that to the d4 opposition week in, week out.

or do they just want to win a d4 premiership, go up to d3, finish 9th or 10th & then come back for another tilt at it the year after??

WB
Kew
AP
SFX
ML(unless BHN upset them this week; would be great to keep the comp open)

Premiers - AP
Comp B&F - Karl Russo
Goal Kicking - D Viola

wow AP as premiers big call... certainly a quiet confidence building in the Park, or could it be because Ecclestone signed up for another few years to keep tearing up the Falcon Ground?

New Prez & New Coach - New approach... certainly working tops for them [finally];)

Nothing quiet about it. You have been pumping them up for weeks.

Silly comment.

Have a look at where lasts year D4 combatants are on the D3 ladder.

Think you will find WB had massive injuries (more than usual - yes everybody gets them) and would be more than competitive in D3.

I find it really weird Dkerr how you can say that you still support AP after you walked out on that club a few weeks back because you couldn't get a game in the ones.

If you were a true supporter you would have stayed at the club until the end of the year and then moved on instead of spitting the dummy half way through.

lol - i merely did what was right - in consideration of the time/money that i had spent just to travel to/from training & the games - i doubt it was fair that you had to state that in here.

but if its soo difficult for you to comprehend that fact, thats okay. fair cop coming from a guy whos on the leadership group...

:(

More dirty laundry aired on the forum - at least this lot is accepted as being based on actual events. Surely the great foxman has got some inside word from AP on what really transpired?
