Albert Park V Bendigo YCW this weekend should be good nothing like an opp that you dont know rather than intra clubs:thumbsu:

I belive that Bendigo YCW only seen the backs of Albert Parks jumpers on sat and left them with an absolute smashing to remember them by.
good work to the Parkers:thumbsu:

E.Park vs L.Trobe
I just so happened to be doing some extra studies on saturday at the windy, yet delightful 50000+ hectare universaty, so I thought I'd have a look at my feelow D4ians do battle in a practice match.

La Trobe: look like they have a fairly even spread in talent with no real standout. 2/3 talls, a couple of wiser heads(one being player coach), also rotated 8 or more players through the midfield(all seemed capable). Number 7 and 12 good. I think they might trouble a few teams this season with run and look good enough for finals.
E.Park: Looked O.K thanks to 5/6 players, probably a better outfit than last year. number 2 and 10 good. Looked cleaner with the ball use around ground. They will improve on last season.
I left the game just after 3qtr time, with scores at roughly 12 goals each.

:thumbsu:Would anyone know the result? Or have any other results?:thumbsu:

Nice work Sneako...

I had a feeling EP would be a good side this year. They were on the improve at the end of last season. Latrobe were always going to be hard to predict after their shocker last season. Did you guys have a game this weekend? RC are playing Powerhouse as I write this... I'm not there obviously :(

Yer I think the new recruits will play all games, they also have experience which is good to help the younger players.

Yup blood oath they won't forget us in a hurry but good to have a hitout against someone rather than intra clubs. Game was played in great spirit

La Trobe ended up running over them winning by about 5 or 6 goals in the seniors
In the two's La Trobe Smashed them by nearly 100 points i think

RC were competitive with Powerhouse. Not sure of scores... but there were no injuries.

My sources tell me that the game was close early then Powerhouse pulled away due to superior fitness. Also heard the ground was in pretty ordinary condition!

What was the score for this game? How many did Slugga and Murnane kick between them?

Not 100% sure of the score but is was about a 15-20 goal win to AP.
Slugga kicked about 5 and Murnane a couple, The rest of the goals came
from an even spread of midfields and other forwards.

If its anything like this time last year then its a big block of concrete... having said that... hopefully the recent rain has softened it up!

RC were supposed to play UHS this weekend... not sure what happened to that Nikko?

Unfortunately neither am I WAZ.. For reasons not needing any further clarification, I dont get all the info. I reckon it might have had something to do with ground availabilities..

So whats the low down on South Mornington then? Talk abounds of EFL players returning in droves to give experience to a very young and deep list!

Much like 07 they were pretty strong at home most times, but its early on and i guess the test will be if these blokes are willing to travel every week. Terrible jumpers though WAZ..;)

North Brunswick have gone a bit the other way experience wise - of 16 new players that have signed up - 14 were born in 1988! It promises to be a fun year with a lot of youthful exuberance at North Brunny.
