Thank for your 150 games service Luke, but your last 30 have not been good enough

All the best at Geelong

Absolute disgrace of a comment

Apart from a handful who’s last 30 games have been any good??

Guy had battled his heart out and fools throw him out because it’s easy to blame a few than accept the whole club is shit at the moment.

If you are chucking blokes for their poor last 30 games we will have no one left

He is in a real pit, form wise at the moment. It must be frustrating for him as much as us. In Flanagan's book he comments "He (Bevo) understands I don't go out there to make mistakes..." Things aren't going his way on that front all. Endeavour and courage can't be qùestioned, we love him for that, but footy IQ is dismissing at an alarming rate.

I would get him back to basics, traditional FWD pocket as the foundation of his game. Get to the feet of Cordy, hold it up, quick release shots on goal.

To be fair though, replace Dahlhaus with Jong and I wonder if you would feel the same way.

I don’t think there is any doubt Dahl was put on the table last year and out club absolutely lied about it

Thanks for everything Luke

Cheers Luke. Life member.

Thanks for being a terrific player for us, especially those early years.

Hope for your sake you can turn it around at Geelong. Just not against us, OK?

Thanks Luke, now squeeze every last penny out of Geelong. I want that compensation :D
Thinks: "My last act of devotion to the club ... I'll see if I can get them up to $600k a year."

So sad. 2016 was wonderful and I am eternally greatful. But wouldn't it be greater still if we were like Richmond and other successful teams who continued to triumph together as a core group? I think that's what the club should really strive for now. Put together a group who will achieve ongoing success for a good few years. I know it shouldn't diminish what we achieved in 2016 and after waiting so long I guess it doesn't. But now I'd like to experience what other clubs have.

Looks like a sad ending in all honesty. I know it means little as it’s “just social media”, but Luke & the Bulldogs instagram pages are no longer following each other. I’d imagine Luke will put something up in an exit message when he’s ready, but I hope it’s all good

Chasing the cash and is entitled to do so. Loyalty is long dead.

So much for Dahlhaus ‘loving the club’. Hollow, empty words.

I just want decent compensation now. End of first or early second thanks.

Thanks Lukey! Loved watching you at the dogs for the last eight years, from the dreadlocked excitement machine in the first couple of years to the desperate pressure that helped us to the flag. You'll be missed.

Don’t blame Dahl at all

The minute we put him on the trade table last year and then lied that we didn’t is the day we lost him.

Wish him all the best I really do hope he turns it on at the Cattery.

Man you talk shit. The media would’ve had a field day if we’d put him on the trade table yet not one thing is reported about it last year. How do you explain that ? And don’t give us horseshit answers.
Tell us how we were able to put Dahl on the trade table without the media finding out ?

Lol oops

Pretty sad about this really. Honestly thought Dahl would be a one club player, loved his energy and his desperation, wish it could be bottled and handed to several others. Not gonna lie, i will be pretty pissed off if Dahl recaptures his best form being that small forward he started as.

It is the way of the modern game, you want professionalism, you will get machines and numbers, data and figures, if not quickly, then eventually. Business is now Sport, and the sport of AFL has become business... it will not follow a differing path to any other sports who are much further along, the road ahead should really come as no surprise to anyone.

Thank you for your service Luke, the blood, sweat and tears, this club believed in you and gave you a chance, you honored that and gave it your all, the mutual reward was history making. All the best finding yourself a spot in the Kitty litter, i hope you do well, but not against us.
