Yeah and it'll take 33 seconds to dismiss it if that's the only camera angle

huh? Why??

Quite aside from the fact that it's obvious that isn't the only camera angle, that angle is damning enough. What about that makes it eligible for dismissal, other than your own rampant bias?

The fact you can't tell if head high contact occurred because his body obscures it

doesn't demonstrate that he didn't, either. And it's quite obviously not the only angle.

Haven't people in this thread already mentioned that the side on angle conclusively shows the shoulder hit the head? Or is that in the thread on the Collingwood board?

Multiple angles were shown last night, it's clear that Thomas made contact with the head. There is no possible way that he can get out of this. Will be available for the semi/prelim at best and next season at worst. Why did he jump?! Really really stupid.

This.

Contact to the chest and head, player got straight back up and wasn't attended to by a trainer. There will be no need for a medical report, simply because there won't be one.

i'm guessing that a medical report is provided to the MRP as a consequence of a player being cited, rather than only being in the case of injury. that is they provide them whether or not the player is injured and if not, ala waite's nut kick the players act may then be judged insufficient force, etc.

Triple M panel are saying four reduced it three with loading. Karma.
lol, MMM must have been talking about the bloke who hit Daisy but even he would be lucky to escape so lightly

For Daisy to get 4 weeks it would need to be classified as high impact, yeah that aint going to happen given he got straight back up and if that was high impact then the guy who hit Daisy is going for severe and will miss the first 6 weeks of 2012

Keep telling yourself that champ.

Dirty mongrel. Played his last game of the season.

It clearly shows the impact point being the upper body/shoulder. Stop talking shit.

Remind us again, what part of the body is the head attached to.;)

He will get something for that, front on contact is treaded differently to side on contact, especially when he was stupid enough jumping off the ground and was most definately recklass in doing so.

Recklass, high contact but low impact. = ????

You guys are friggin dilusional. The Freo players shoulder/upper body is below Thomas's number. Contact is happening at this very point. If you think he did not get him high then you are just talking yourself into believing what you would like to be true. There will be NO 1 week suspension. It can be a minimum of 2 or the MRP is flat out cheating.

Nah, doesn't even leave the ground let alone get him high, dunno what picture you are looking at

What is going to damn Thomas is that he left his feet. Once you leave your feet and bump someone, if you hit them in the head then it'll always at least be deliberate intent.
