is this thread a joke?
dalsanto is a superstar of the league. just because his possesion count was down this year doesnt mean he isnt a valuable player.
has a high efficiency with those touchs.
would love him at richmond!!!!!
how bout a jackson, tambling, okley nicols trade for him? sounds good to me

Just a question for you... Why do all teams feel the need to put their best tagger on Dal Santo? Is it because he is their most creative player and if you shut him down they more than likely lose. This would explain why his possession count is down in losses. Let's face it. It's tough playing on the Lings of this world. One thing he needs to develop in order to go to the next level is to be able to beat the tag. I love watching him in full flight. His type of player is integral to all teams, especially the saints who have the hardball winners in Hayes and Ball already.

Can't recall him ever playing a big game when his team is down.

I cringe when people introduce him as a superstar or star.

He is a

that is continually linked with us cos he barracked for Essendon once!

I certainly don't want him!

and hopefully your side doesn't get him. The Bombers could really do with someone like DalSanto and I suppose because of the ill informed supporters like yourself the Bombers deserve to spend some more time down the ladder.

nup, dale thomas is the leagues biggest front runner. where is he at anytime collingwood needs someone to lift?
one of my mates said Dal Santo is apparently on drugs, maybe thats why hes been struggling
but i suppose since Lance Franklins been on drugs hes become a superstar. i suppose hell get his 3rd strike in the offseason

Haha, where was Dal Santo against Hawthorn?

Hmmm it seems certain that you don't like Dal Santo Drummond, you keep bumping your thread on him.
Did he say something nasty to you? or do you honestly believe he shouldn't be playing AFL football?
So what is it you would like to achieve ? Keep bagging him in the hope that the Saints offer him up?

PS I heard a Collingwood supporter on SEN saying the same sort of stuff that Drummond is, when asked if the caller would have him at Collingwood he said, sure.
Go figure.

I may bookmark this incase he ends up at the Crows next year.:p

No offence to you mate, but you're a little bit thick.

Firstly, what's wrong with bumping his own thread from two years ago if it's still relevant and accurate? I would've bumped my Cooney for Brownlow thread from back at about round 8, but didn't due to it being made under my old username...

And explain what's wrong with taking umbrage at a player who's got a hell of a lot of talent, but is just a lazy farq? I guarantee if most people on here had his talent they'd be making the most of it. Then there's the fact it's a good talking point, which, ironically is the exact reason the thread's being bumped - and is what the OP wants to 'achieve' by this - create discussion.

Thirdly, as if anyone wouldn't take him at their club. He's clearly not living up to the potential at the Saints and maybe some other coach/change of environment could get the best out of him. Just because people say he's lazy and overrated doesn't mean he's shite.

There's a clue for you.

... Well if one of your mates told you...

ps. You're good to laugh at.

In his defence though - did anyone consider the fact that the Saints might struggle when he's not playing well, rather than them not playing well means he'll have a shite game?

Chicken and the egg stuff.

When you say drugs what are you referring to? As in Ice/Cocaine etc. or performance enhancers? Also how do you/your friend know whether either Buddy and/or DS take drugs? And how do you know Buddy has strikes to his name?

he has bumped a meaningless thread, so much talent? if he doesn't apply it then how would you know? Shows a bit now and again? How many players do that? How do you know that Dal Santo isn't offering the very best he can?
Point is, you don't so just on that alone I can safely say just between you and me that you are definitely as thick as 2 painters planks.
It's a great talking point for the plebs and bottom feeders, you know, the ones that have probably never played and get their rocks off pushing their point of view on forums like this.
Personally I don't think you are living up to your potential as a BF poster.

Dal Santo.. had a reasonable year.

It's easy to pick on him... when you consider....

st kilda played finals without Luke Ball. Let's see Hawthorn even consider winning a match with either of Sam Mitchell or Luke Hodge as an out in the prelim finals.

Dal Santo carved up collingwood.... however, ppl just pick on him... coz they need a scapegoat.

LEAVE HIM ALONE

Luke Ball hasn't played or at least played fit for the best part of the last 3 years, why does it suddenly matter when he is out for one more game?!?

LOL.

There's rather alot that's humorous in the above post.

Just a quick one though, if you're going to call someone else an idiot - at least have ONE strong arguement to hang your hat on.

Wondered about this. He started to string some quality games together this year and was looking very good. Whats the thoughts on his injuries now? Is he looking good for a big 09? Love the guy, his attack on the ball is second to none.
