Was he at the B&F last night?
If it’s Collingwood, it should be pick 13, F1R (which we use for Lukosius and change coming back) and Richards. Throw in Richards as a sweetener for dealing with Collingwood instead of Carlton.Pick 13 becomes 15 draft night.
Richards, well we can get him anyway. Nice to no he's weighing up staying at Collingwood and they are looking to trade him?
No not doing this deal.
Fox: Gold Coast’s Pick 13 could be the catalyst to Dan Houston’s return to Victoria amid continued rival interest in the prized draft selection. It was originally the No. 12 selection before St Kilda’s compensatory Pick 8 for Josh BattlePLAYERCARDSTART5Dan Houston

AFL Media journalist Cal Twomey reports Collingwood and Carlton are among the sides ‘fiercely chasing’ the potentially-attainable Suns pick. It was reported just a few days ago by Twomey that up to six clubs had eyes on the selection, with Gold Coast preparing to match an early-first-round rival bid for Academy prospect Leo Lombard.
In addition to the Pies and Blues — and North Melbourne and Adelaide from Twomey’s previous report — Melbourne, Sydney, GWS and the Western Bulldogs are said to have shown interest in acquiring the pick; eight in total.
Collingwood — whose interest in Houston remains ‘strong’ — is thought to be eyeing Pick 13 in an arrangement that also involves sending John Nobleto the Suns.PLAYERCARDSTART9John Noble

In one scenario, the Magpies could on-trade Pick 13 to the Power along with forward Joe Richards — who is seriously weighing up an offer from Port Adelaide — for Houston.
On the other hand, Carlton and Melbourne are each considering sending a future first-rounder to the Suns in exchange for No. 13.
The Blues are a hot candidate to land Houston, wanting to on-trade Pick 13 to Port Adelaide for the All-Australian — but Twomey believes that selection alone wouldn’t be enough to get a deal over the line.
The Swans and Giants, meanwhile, each have multiple first-rounders this year that they might use as bargaining chips to trade up the order.
Lukosius salary dump. We take on the full salary and get pick 13 as well, just like Geelong when they traded Bowes. How can we trade to get pick 13 from Gold Coast and force the clubs to find another way
lol stop saying this. It’s never going to happen.Lukosius salary dump. We take on the full salary and get pick 13 as well, just like Geelong when they traded Bowes.
Not with our footy department it won'tlol stop saying this. It’s never going to happen.
It was known before Geelong made the trade that the Suns were looking to trade a first to get off Jack Bowes contract. There were multiple clubs interested in the deal, and the Cats won him over. Not with our footy department it won't
Calling the deal as Dan plus a F2 pick for Owies and Young.Given that each reason for hope in our club (CD going, Ken going, Dew coming in) have been dashed, I'm not investing at all in the club getting value for Dan. There is no evidence from their past trading that they have a plan to deal with an obstinate counterparty. So, I'll not be surprised if he goes to Carlton for their second round pick and a couple of later round pick swaps.
**** sake mate get it in your head. This is not the jack bowes situation where they were literally over the cap before the trade, there cap is in a better space that there not going to gives us a pick to take a 24 year old KPF who was a top 3 pick. Not with our footy department it won't
Yep.Lukosius salary dump. We take on the full salary and get pick 13 as well, just like Geelong when they traded Bowes.
FWIW Davies actually mentioned the Bowes trade and being able to effectively buy picks in his press conference last week**** sake mate get it in your head. This is not the jack bowes situation where they were literally over the cap before the trade, there cap is in a better space that there not going to gives us a pick to take a 24 year old KPF who was a top 3 pick.
Best we can hope for is we take his whole salary then there happy with something in the 20s, they pay some salary then its gonna need to be a future 1st
100% this. It's a ****ing jokeIf he actually 'wants to go to Victoria' then he can go to North Melbourne, or any other Victorian based club that is willing to pay fair value.
Otherwise he can see our the contract that he signed and committed to.
I don't get this bullshit around having a preference amongst Victorian clubs. You're under contract mate, you don't get to have preferences.
If we have to take on his full contract then an F1 should be off the tableIt was known before Geelong made the trade that the Suns were looking to trade a first to get off Jack Bowes contract. There were multiple clubs interested in the deal, and the Cats won him over.
The Suns have said nothing like this about Luko.
