Because he hasn’t formally requested a trade to any particular club or stated flat out he doesn’t want to go to North.
They may not be his preference however if he truely wants to get to Vic, it may be his only option.
The Pies simply don’t have the picks to get this deal done.

I'm getting told on the Pies board we wouldn't entertain the deal under any circumstance.
I feel it would be decent for us, interested if I am on the pipe.

It’s unlikely, but not a bad tactic if Port pretended to take a deal to the board and had it rejected by Dad (Kochie).
I’m not 100% convinced we will kick in again next year, so happy to skip on a half back flanker and go draft picks where we can.

Except none of them are floating offers that gets Houston to their club. They're all just floating trade scenarios that see them make out like bandits in a pick swap lol.

Its not Port's fault the Pies screwed up their trades last year.
What nonsense. The pies haven’t made any attempt to improve the hand they can offer and are instead hoping that Noble and an F1 can be turned into Houston by getting GC to throw in extra picks and ripping off port.
If the Pies want him, find a way to get an extra pick or two to satisfy us.
So tell me another club that has offered more. You keep mentioning North, please explain what they have offered that is significantly more than what Port get from the 3 way trade?
