Fox tonight said the 3 offer are not that far from each other .. so he thought it would be west coast ... if you have a choice why no go to the better club. So that swings it back to geelong ..what they are willing to accept.. we probably need West Coast to lose a player worth a R1 ..cause Freo is going to have better picks , Lose Brad Hill and Ed Landon , and even a couple more players that appeal.

He will feel at home with his mates Jetta, Rioli, Ryan, Cameron and Watson (the Jetta replacement. He'll still get decent coin and all Afl players want a premiership. I'm excited at the prospect of a midfield containing Yeo, Shuey and Kelly as the inside bulls with Gaff and Petrucelle/Cameron as the speed demons on the outside.
Kelly is the missing piece of the jigsaw.

Well your club must have a different thought thread... Kelly could have been a west coast player multiple times if you had just unwound the rope a bit.

You are going for two flags in a row .. and looking to add our arguably our best mid. If you want the trade to happen silky smooth then you need to find an r1 something like what Freo will have..

Well, we are only around 6 weeks away from getting an answer. I can’t see Freo cleaning up their home quick enough to be an attractive option for Kelly if the dollars are not too far apart.

They’ll need to package their first (17) + their second tied to Sydney (23) for a top 10 pick. On trade the top 10 pick + next year’s first for TK.

Brander, Waterman, Cameron, all s**t.

Petruccelle worth a second and meh. No interest in their lesser places.

Kelly is A+ and will be AA, top 10 mids at the moment in his prime.

so go and shop the guys who will move to someone with a pick that gets the trade done. I suspect you know a guy like Waterman will not get a R1 pick

Because your picks are late .. 2 R1 picks sounds a lot but we are still talking about 20th player in the draft.

Where are you guys getting the cash to pay what Kelly wants if you don't give someone up worth something more than a dishrag
You are paying Gaff, Yeo, Kennedy, McGovern, Hurn, Shuey, Kennedy, Darling, Jetta, NicNat etc big salaries. Ryan, Rioli, Allen, etc are going to be requesting pretty decent paychecks into the future too. Kelly won't leave Geelong unless you at least match their offer.

Why would Allen , a WA kid , want to move when he is getting games for the team he probably supported? Why would WC agree to his trade ? Its a no trade imo.

They couldn't trade up their picks last year and I doubt they will this year. They want him for nothing. Ridiculous. Why don't we give them Danger to go along with the deal. We need to ask for better than they are willing to offer. WA kid doesn't want to go then ask them for better

Maybe Petrucelle. He's from Victoria although I'd hate to see him go but we have Cameron who has similar traits with more goal kicking ability.
