What do you mean no-one else taking votes. The opposition were taking all the votes!! Did you not see how bad we were this year for various reasons? Not many teams get votes when they are being beaten by 40+ points.

Thats what happens in a Dynasty team when you have players like Lynch , Riewoldt , Rance , Cotchin , Dusty etc
Players like Daniel Rioli get looked over and are not noticed as much. Dan has played nearly 200 games and kicked 110 goals and will likely have another 100 games in him with his athleticism speed and durability.

You realise how much it was coming in there right? Our midfield and forward line were wrecked with injury this year and we were always likely to be 10-13th anyway, making a middling team awful. Our defence was made to look ordinary for much of the year, but Rioli was still great at what he is mainly there for, bringing the ball out of defence and moving the ball swiftly and with quality delivery.

Rioli is at least as good, I think better, personally.

Rioli has 3 years on a contract. Saad didn't. The contract has a value if the team that tapped him up really wants him. A value that didn't need to be paid in the Saad trade.

Saad is better than Rioli in another universe, however not here on here.
Saads ex coach and father figure was also not coaching the blues like Dimma is the suns. Dimma wants it at all costs. This won’t just be pick 6, this will be pick 6 and more.

I've watched both heaps, they are both good players, but Saad is a much better defender, especially one on one, and in the air. He can play on the best small forward and counter attack, Rioli can't. Both are great kicks and good runners, Saad better in traffic, Rioli in open space.

Stats, please. Saad plays deeper and generally on the most dangerous small forward, Rioli often doesn't have an opponent at all.
