Magic potion,Do people still think Fogarty is carrying a knee injury or suffering from poor delivery ?
Just a sensational performance by him , I just think we will get more of these games as he continues to mature mentally

He looked a lot fitter in today's game than he has for a while. I was thinking during the match he was running smoothly and not favoring one leg like he had previously.Do people still think Fogarty is carrying a knee injury or suffering from poor delivery ?

I think he will have a knee clean at seasons end. It's hard to suggest delivery has improved when he had to go get it (which is another improvement).Do people still think Fogarty is carrying a knee injury or suffering from poor delivery ?

Now that he can move freely the "poor delivery" issues have evaporated.Do people still think Fogarty is carrying a knee injury or suffering from poor delivery ?

To be honest I wasn't worried about his form, his 'bad' games are now what he used to produce as a good game.
Ripping game though ...I wonder if he could play midfield
Interesting. I am no Doctor, so would love to hear what makes you say this? Had the injury in week 2. Had 2 weeks off and came back and dominated for 2 weeks before his form regressed. Had the knee strapped from week 5 - week 9 and then hasn't had it strapped since.
The way he has moved the past two weeks suggests that he is at 100%.
Same too the fact that we are too Tex focused. Who would have thought 2 key forwards can co-exist?!!??!

But they don't usually.Same too the fact that we are too Tex focused. Who would have thought 2 key forwards can co-exist?!!??!
If we target both, they can. If we don't they won't.
If he doesn't sustain the current form for all time, which is incredibly likely as the second tall, you'll be right back to abusing him online.
But they don't usually.
It's normally 1 gets a lot and the other doesn't. You have two so when 1 is down the other hopefully is up.
And how many times have both kicked bags or dominated at the same time ?Yeah thats not how it works at AFL, at all.
There is plenty of room for a key forward to play well when there is another dominant forward. Darcy played really well against the Power when Walker kicked 7. They both played very well against Carlton, Hawthorn, Gold Coast X 2, Kangas, Power.
Look at all the good teams - Geelong (Hawkins/Cameron), Richmond (Lynch/Riewoldt) 2017 Crows - Walker/Betts/Jenkins. There is always room for a 2nd target.
There is plenty of opportunity and Fog succeeds when his head is in the game. The excuses have all been debunked.
Its time to acknowledge (just like FOG did) that its his psychologist that turned around his 2022. We need to get that man/women onto payroll.

The knee injury he did and how it was managed. The lack of strapping doesn't = fine.
Again I don't share the 'out of form' narrative, his numbers were down, but his work rate was still fine.
I'm not arguing he hasn't played a bad game over the season, I mean WB springs to mind , but I don't think form has been an issue. But he was dominant in his first two games after coming back. Then his form dropped.
You can still try just as hard and still be out of form / not performing.
Look at Murphy - his effort hasn't wavered in 2023.

I mean is his St kilda game bad because he only had it 8 times or good because he kicked 2 goals (Walker 10 and 5) ? What about Geelong got it 8 times for no goals ? Bad ? Walker only got it 7...but kicked 5.
Hard to compare Murphy, I like the guy, I don't think form is as much as an issue as being put in a position his skill set doesn't match. But that's me.
