A coupleof things-heard that Rod Wilson is the number one suspect in the torching of the can bar, I am guessing the club is up for a new set of jumpers and were there any rash statements made over the weekend whilst celebrating in regard to player movements at Langley next year ?You would think that young Yates and Wison would be on Plantys radar:thumbsu:

maybe a few of them could have pushed themselves to play in the seniors and really achieved something:eek: Not too many take notice of reserve premiers unless they are playing in it. Nothing against south burnie but there were guys who were taking the easy route and then behaving like they had just won on the mcg.

Well done to somerset:thumbsu:

Id give Somerset 10. Natone 8. Souths 7. Yolla 7. Ridgley 6. Queeny 4. Yoaman 3. Cuprona 3?? Far too many players will retire and move on to list. Can any1 tell me who won Cuprona's and Queeny's Best and Fairests? I know all the other clubs except these 2.

Well let's hear yours?
ok then in my opinion

somerset 9.5 will lose slapper retirement pete saward reserves mat wilson and brady yates dockers but will pick up 2 or more wynyard players for next season.

natone 9.0 probably the best side all year till the grand final milo to retire fisher to move on podge back to motton preston ransley undecided

sth burnie 8.0 dissappointing late in the season fitness told on the older players towner to retire rat hering gone stretton back to dockers two butlers to move on baldock to dockers stubbs back to penguin

yolla 7.5 good result considering late injuries heath to retire with harnett and hoare need to look to youth have a good group coming through.

ridgley 7.0 struggled all year bessel to move back to somerset coulson to coach next year will need to rebuild. butler back from south

queenstown 5.0 struggled all year next year will be no different coach paterson will move on as will a few others.

yeoman 4.0 will need to rebuild from the ground up had committee problems but did have a youthful list needs a coach that will attract ntfl type players to move forward.

cuprona 4.0 chalky did a good job with a young and inexperianced list new coach from ntfa hopefully will bring some with him chalky to move on to yolla or back to somerset.

ok boys thats my view agree or disagree

Righto, some high marks indeed, depends on how success is judged.Yeoman finished above Cuprona in the win-loss ratio but overall Cuprona far better "off field" than Yeoman.Yes, the new coach will bring a couple but not many if the word on the "street" is correct and he will need to as the 2 DeVries , Tuthills and Jacobson are rumoured to be leaving. At least the debt inherited by the Dogs has been reduced and the culture is a long way off the more successful Clubs but massively better than the last couple of seasons and you would think that the Club will not lose 31 players from their list as last year.Somerset did exceptionally well and now the drought is broken they are in a great position to recruit but knowing the committee they will not get players that will not contribute off field as well and certainly will not "pay" what they think they are worth.Bessell can go back but will only strengthen the twos.Slappa a massive loss and the two speedsters have the ability to go the next level for sure-a Senior Premiership so the benchmark has been set.Natone are a good Club and will remain so-will Milo retire as he has had another great year, if Moppa does not move away for work I cannot imagine him not playing, they came back stronger after the defeat last year so maybe the fire will burn.South will always be up there and those "supposed" losses you mention, well, lets wait and see Round 1, always have drawing power and were set up beautifully this year to win the Granny but didnt, always a powerful force and are never underestimated.Yolla will be better as their young guys will be better as will the whole group after the first yaer under Wildman, need an influx maybe as not a whole heap of younger player sin the magoos.Always hard at home and Kent will certainly adress any deficiencies he thought they had this year. The Saints had not much depth this yaer which may be their acahilles heal but if Couls does coach again they will be a little better, need Haysy playing, but will figure in the 5 again one would think.Queeny have some quality young players but depending on their work down there will struggle again especially if Shak does not play.No doubt Jono and Schulzy still holding their own but simply not getting any younger, always an unknown but dangerous group.Yeoman will be better off field after teething problems this year. They have youth and pace on their side which is handy, ask Timmy Mac, but need to recruit as do the Dogs and Crows-let the silly season now begin:thumbsu:

Somerset: are only going to get better with Timmy mac there for another year. Bardy Allen young speedy forward. Declan Moore young up and coming ruckmen are ment to be coming from Wynyard.

Natone: will be ther abouts next year if they keep ther same group and pick up a couple from the two blues.

Sth Burnie: Are looking at Nils Willams from Latrobe to co-coach with Andrew Hering or Craig Stretton or maybe Jason Ling is still the talk around the town as well.

Yolla: No one knows what they will come up with till the season starts.

Ridgley: Coulson bank balance must be getting low again to coach Ridgley again. Will lift them back up to the top of ladder in 2011.

Yeoman: Will be the most improve team in 2011. Needs a coach that as the time to teach the young group how to play finals type final every game. Not just turn up and who give's a ****.

Queenstown: Need to have a look long and hard for a good coach. Like Yeoman need to take time with the young group.

Cuprona: Are gone put all there $$$$ in Guy Grey in 2010. And will pay for that for years.

I think you will find Brett Holohan will be coaching a Darwin team next year ...South Burnie or Natone.
is he the one was at penguin n burnie?also heard 2day that a somerset player elbowed a south player in the face when shaking hands is that true?

At least the Dogs were in the comp this year under "Chalky", they would have folded without his input this year and the new coach will take the job on under better circumstances, so they certainly will not pay for it for years-could not be anymore"gone" than this time last year

I think your right about the bank balance . Herd Ado King will be assistant will be interested to see who gets the coin and who does the work as Coulson works away a lot of the time.
