Traded David Rodan to Melbourne for Pick 88

The Dees have become Dad's Army. Obviously have little or no faith in their kids.

Moronic post, at best. Already picked up 17 year old Jesse Hogan, Jack Viney, Dom Barry and whoever we pick up at pick 4. That's another 4 kids, only an imbecile would look at our list and call it a 'Dad's Army'

Are you an imbecile?

As much I think Neeld is a horrible coach... the Demons needed to try something different and he's certainly doing that. I hope all of this works out for the Demons

Melbourne need excitement this season. Many new faces and Rodan is genuinely fun to watch.

Just let it go.

It's pretty obvious what Neeld is doing, all the trades so far have been about improving our culture, off loading Moloney and getting Byrnes, Dawes, Viney, Hogan and now Rodan. He wants people who will set the right standards for our kids. Expect some surprise delistings as well.

Mark Neeld knows what he is doing., so the faceless flogs can keep hating all they like.

Anyways, nice to have a couple of crumbing forwards now after not having one for the last 5 or 6 years (unless you count Woneamirri).

Good to see Neeld is filling holes in the list, something Dean Bailey never even bothered with.

No risk whatsoever. Even if he's sub for 20 games next year he's worth pick 88. Has x-factor and can damage when he's on.

Really don't see any loss for the Dees with guys like Rodan and Byrnes - they need experience and they need a shake-up.

Good luck to Rodan, though I hoped he went to a contender, deserves some success.

Will be Melbourne's B&F in 2013. By default.

It's all fun and games until Nathan Jones gets more Brownlow votes than anyone at Hawthorn bar Mitchell.

Happy for D-Rod to get another chance at an AFL club. He is a ripping bloke and a great clubman.

I always liked Rodan at our club, just his 2 knee injuries have set him back somewhat and he is only good for 1 quarter a game usually. Its pretty common for Rodan to have a 10 possession and 5 clearance 1st quarter then have 3-5 more touches for the rest of the game.

He kept getting sent back to the SANFL because his defensive side was non existant.

If Melbourne utilise him as a specialist sub then they will do well with him

And this post is ment to mean...

Well you guys have picked up Chaplin, What do you have to say about that! Why did you guys pick up Chaplin??

To play in our backline? Fills a need.

You're right we should've got Dawes.

Thats rich coming from a guy whos team purchased Chris 'I havent played a game since 2007' Knights and uber spud Troy Chaplin.

Will have more impact than Rodan and Dawes.

We'll be playing finals too.
