Davoren must go

I'm pretty confident the fitness and conditioning staff go through every injury now and try to learn from it - same as the coaching panel do with game analysis. If we think it's a good idea to find "independent" advice regarding our injuries, is it also a good idea to bring in independent eyes to analyse our game mistakes?

I expect they do yes. I'm not calling them incompetent. But they don't appear (I base this on the length of our injury list over seasons) to be anywhere near league leaders either. We need them to be, if we are to contend.

Regarding review of our game mistakes, I'm not really sure what you are asking. Are you talking individual skill errors? Something else?

People do realise that just because it's not a soft tissue injury doesn't mean that it can't be as a result of poor conditioning by our fitness staff yeah?

Not saying that these are the case, but the simplistic rule of "not soft tissue, get over it" is just incorrect.

That's a very rational, measured point of view. Where there's smoke, there's fire and the fitness people are smelling like burnt flesh at the moment. I think we need to rationally leverage Davoren out of his seat and methodically eject him from the front doors of the House of Holden...

Our injury toll over the past 3 seasons has been nothing short of disastrous. Its just so disappointing where we sit right now with our current injury status AGAIN.... No Elliott, Scharenberg, Ramsey, Swan, Williams, Goldsack, just back in VFL, Brown and now add Adams, Fasolo, Toovey, Moore Crocker, have I missed anyone?
When will our luck change? The club will need to make a call on the fitness & conditioning staff, can't help bad luck sometimes but this is simply unacceptable.

Since we're not improving our win-loss position with each season, is our game analysis up to scratch? I'm talking more about structures, running patterns etc. I'm not advocating an independent review, BTW, just making a comparison with areas where our performance might need scrutiny. FWIW, I suspect a significant factor in our injury toll is probably our "effort-based" game plan. We love it when the team brings effort to the contest, but the bash and crash can carry a cost for some body types. Today, three of our injuries were directly contact-related and Adams' hamstring is probably also due to his fierce desire in the contest.

Dont worry about today, he should be judge on the last couple years and had failed terribly, needs to be the first out the door at years end.

Kaiser Sose had better PR than Davoren.
Does he really exist?
Or, puff... And he was gone....
