What's out next now for DC?
Ironically expecting crickets at the screenings.Blue Beetle next month.
Genuinely idiotic.Aquaman apparently in its third set of reshoots and the Batman cameo (first Keaton then Affleck) has been cut.
At this stage surely just release it in whatever state it’s in. They are throwing good money after bad.
Somewhere in all of this Gunn said on Twitter nothing pre-Legacy is canon (which seems pretty obvious at this stage) so what’s the point.
At this point just a surprise drop of the two of them on streaming might be the way to go. Will not actually happen of course, but the publicity would be free and no distribution costs, then no one would talk much about them for the two years in which Legacy gets made.Genuinely idiotic.
If he hadnt already destroyed the brand with the "The Flash is the greatest superhero movie ever" (spoiler, it wasnt) this isnt helping him.
Get the old s**t out, cut the loss and move onto the new stuff with some excitement.
Strikes have already smashed your momentum,
Keaton reprized the role of Batman after 30+ years.I assume that's the last time we see Cavill as Superman? Still sad about that, he's been great.
Is there in existence an actual finished "polished" version of Batgirl ?
Might get Superman: No Way HomeKeaton reprized the role of Batman after 30+ years.
We have till ~2055 for Cavill to come back.
Can you imagine how many times they will have rebooted Superman till then? At least 3 times potentially.
I definitely believe Cavill will be offered the opportunity to reprise the role, whether he takes up the offer remains to be seen.Might get Superman: No Way Home
Probably because he’d already reprised it on TV. And they seemed to want to distance themselves from that.Just on that, suprised Brandon Routh's version of Superman didnt appear in The Flash.
I read that it was still a fair way off, with some more scenes to be filmed, plus VFX etc.Is there in existence an actual finished "polished" version of Batgirl ?
Ive heard all sorts of rumours online, not sure what to believe.I read that it was still a fair way off, with some more scenes to be filmed, plus VFX etc.
Still, if there was enough to show the cast it can’t have been that far off something coherent.
Personally didn’t have a strong opinion of the cameos one way or the other but there was absolutely no rhyme or reason to them that’s for sure. Cage confused my wife, lack of Bale even more so.
Suspect the cameos changed a lot in post production. It was probably tacked on.Personally didn’t have a strong opinion of the cameos one way or the other but there was absolutely no rhyme or reason to them that’s for sure. Cage confused my wife, lack of Bale even more so.
With a budget of $120m, yes it is.Blue Beetle now apparently on track for a $12m to $17m opening.
Obviously could surprise but that’s an unfathomable flop if it pans out.
I reckon the studio is privately thrilled about the strike part because it gives them an excuse not to promote it.It doesnt look promising but I hope it doesnt flop Xolo's sake. I also hope the actors strike ends too so he can at least get to do some press before the movie gets released. Should be an exciting time for him now but its all bad news at the moment where this movie is concerned. No doubt Zaslav is regretting the decision to pull it from Max and release it theatrically now.

I think they’ve given up hope on this one. I doubt $20m promo would lead to $20m box office. The brand is ruined.Thats a double edged sword. Yes you save money but even less people are going to see it.
We will never know the exact figure but I do wonder how much the lack of a press tour hurt The Flash. Keaton being avalaible for the full rounds would have made a difference not enough to make it profitable though thats for sure.
Harrison Ford doing the rounds hasnt really helped Indy 5 box office too.
WB has gone all in on Barbie though though I wonder if thats to s**t on Nolans party for leaving them.
