DC are about 5-10 years back from Marvel. they are only just starting a connected universe and Marvel have been doing that since Iron Man 2. All the sequels from marvel have been shit IMO Iron Man 2 felt like it was half baked and should get as much shit as Green Lantern it was like what can we use fill the space before we do an avengers movie. All the first Marvel movies have been the best. Thor 2, Avengers 2, Cap 2, Iron Man 2 and 3 were all disappointing. If they made those films the first in the series the franchises would struggle more.

To to put them against eachother you would need to wait until all the DC movies have had a first. so after BvS, Justice League, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Shazam.

Yeah Batman is the biggest draw in DC but its also bigger then anything Marvel has. The Dark Knight trilogy would of made so much more money if they were done later because the Dark Knight was the start of the comic book movie boom. If that wasnt such a success i dont think Marvel would have so many movie franchises right now

Yeah the Marvel movies have been better than them ion terms of dollars brought in, but personally I enjoyed them.

I think this new direction will bring a lot more people in.

Looks like the rumoured Green Lantern Corps movie is happening!

Geoff Johns apparently said it would happen on the DC Film special.

Also, this Wonder Woman footage looks incredible - far exceeding my expectations.

Great effects. You can't even see the outline of her invisible plane.

Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg




Gotta say Aquaman and Cyborg look pretty cool. Mixed feelings about Ezra Miller's casting as the Flash just because I like the TV Flash version. It will be interesting to see how they are introduced into the BvS movie though.

That really is extraordinary, had no idea. I mean I knew he was a massive DC man, Batman in particular. Enjoyed his Fatman on Batman podcasts whenever I had the time to listen to them.

But to name your son/daughter after a comic book character is something else.

That's always my initial reaction but then I think about it and I think it would've been great to see. It would've been a different take on it.

We don't really know that though.

People had the same reaction to Heath Ledger or Ben Affleck being cast. It's something that can never be definitively known until you've seen it for yourself.
