I wonder how reliable this is?

I've read it twice, and it sounds brilliant. Particularly the Bruce/Joker angle, that he knows Batman's true identity. It's something I've wanted since the 'you let your family die' letter written in blood in the CC trailer.

But not sure if the above is accurate. Time will tell I guess. But **** if that stuff came true, then surely this film will deliver (even with Snyder in charge).

If it all turns out true it sounds like it might pick up the slack that man of steel left behind

Looks like the rumoured Green Lantern Corps movie is happening!

Geoff Johns apparently said it would happen on the DC Film special.

Also, this Wonder Woman footage looks incredible - far exceeding my expectations.

He is about 15 years too old for Lobo, dont know if Lobo would be big enough to carry his own film, could see him showing up in a superman/justice league/GL movie.

The GL Corps movie was always happening its just rumors on who will be in it and if it will be a Hal movie or John. I kinda hope its got a bit of Kyle and as little Guy as possible. Its too early to do Black Hand or Sinestro corps, explore the spectrum and have Red Lanterns or Larfreeze [Do the Larfreeze christmass story and it will win every comedy award ever] or do Paralax right this time. I think it would be a great series if they had a good story in the first movie setting up the emotional color spectrum with a worthy bad guy, then 2nd film something like Sinestro Corps and 3rd a Black Hand/Blackest night movie but also with the Justice League.

They could CGI him younger couldn't they? Seemed to work okay in Star Wars :p

I guess it will depend how their other movies go - WB have a rep for being a bit unwilling to take risks don't they? They've got Shazam and there was a rumoured Blue Bettle/Booster Gold buddy cop film which bodes well for something like Lobo.

Ah my bad - thought that was just a rumour and yet to be confirmed. Definitely agree with all that - probably will need a few GL films (instead of trying to cram everything into 1 like the ill fated GL movie tried to do). Being an established universe, it might give them some flexibility in having some parts already set up. Wouldn't object to Mark Strong as Sinestro again if he wanted to reprise the role.

Oh and hopefully they'll actually make costumes this time instead of CGI-ing :D

Just watching the special now.

Not gonna lie, I am absolutely pumped for this.

Look out Marvel. Daddy's home.

In fairness Marvel could fart and it would do better than any DC movie.

Easy to judge when we haven't viewed a DC movie?

Very presumptuous Kylie.

I have high hopes that this will at least break even, if not topple the marvel giant.

I've personally viewed several DC movies, at the end of the day Marvel is money at the box office and DC is coming from a fair way back.

I don't doubt that this will make good money as with SS but it'll still be chasing the Marvel releases.

Marvel's definitely ahead at this stage but hopefully DC can get up to speed pretty quickly too. Marvel definitely need a bit of competition as their movies have been a bit meh of late IMO - though Civil War could be a much needed game changer for their universe. Great time to be a comic book fan either way :D

What recent Marvel movies have you found to be 'meh'?

Personally, of the phase 2 films - Thor 2, Iron Man 3 and Age of Ultron were a bit underwhelming for me. Not saying they were 'bad' by any means, just that they seemed 'more of the same' or maybe I was hoping for more?

Loved Guardians and really pumped for Deadpool (not sure if that will crossover with the MCU?) - they just looked fresh and unique to the usual 'marvel' flick. Heard Ant Man is decent - haven't seen it yet though.

Hopefully the return of the Russo brothers for Civil War changes it up a bit.

Dude, see Ant-Man, it's very good.

Have to agree its a wonderful time for comic book fans :):thumbsu:

What DC movies have you viewed on the big screen pants??

Both recent Superman's and recent Batmans.

Only saw Green Lantern at home.

Ant-man was fun, it surprised me. Was better than I expected.

Some of the other films have laboured though as NUFC mentioned. Age of Ultron, Thor 2, Iron Man 3 etc were a bit of filler. But its understandable when you have a 10 year project, but things are being nicely set up for The Infinity Wars. Which I have high hopes for.

DC are well behind the 8 ball. But in DC's favour are the massive drawcards of Batman, Superman etc and the numerous iconic villains. ie The Joker. Not expecting the same financial results at the box office, but I don't care about that. I just want these movies to ****ing deliver.

I don't think Superman is much of a draw card anymore at all for DC, it's all about the Bat and his world.
