I am writing an observational report about something very... abnormal, even for the standards of an Essendon person at an off-site location. So abnormal that I can't bring myself to shred it. Very surprising I know, so listen up.
Since we have received the mantle of taking care of the precious Hawthorn Mayblooms in round 1, something Geelong normally do for the competition, I have noticed a disturbing level of salt flowing through from the brown and gold this preseason. Geelong usually handle it with care to avoid the repercussions of coming into contact with a high level of salt, but it has me worried for the consumers of a high salt diet. Since we can turn to Geelong for assistance in setting up a supplement regime (that they didn't use), I want to ask this question. What is the safest way to handle this level of salt? Is that level of salt normal from the mayblooms at this time of year? I thought their saltiness bloomed after May.
The first batch of salt was detected as early as trade week last year, which is very early in the off-season. After investigation, it was sourced to be from this:
Another thing that I have observed is a high level of puffing. Their puffing leaves even the puffers puffed out.
The puffers tried their best to take the wind out of them to stop their puffing, as evidenced by this:
Although it did have an initial effect, it only lasted for a couple of days before the puffing returned. If even the experienced puffers cannot stop their puffing, is this a chronic thing? I know they Hawf a lot, but puffing as well?
They've also recently started displaying a collective delusion of having a premiership list that I am getting concerned about. I conducted a series of tests on the Hawthorn board to identify where this delusion stems from. It appears that this is rife and widespread within the Hawthorn community, from the top down. I know we had a bout of what appeared to be delusion recently on the Essendon board, but that was diagnosed quite quickly to be the "supporters syndrome", colloquially known as "Hirdism". This new wave of delusion however has spread quite quickly throughout the Hawthorn board and it does make me worried about where else it could go. At least the bout of "delusion" that started on February 2013 can be sourced to a particular unprecedented event that occurred prior to its occurrence. It was also confined to a specific population of Essendon supporters.
This new wave of what I'd like to term "premiership delusion" is even starting to affect the main board, namely in the ladder prediction thread. It is also invading the bay and even on individual club boards where somehow, Tom Mitchell and O'Meara > Sam Mitchell, Jordan Lewis and Luke Hodge in their prime. As you can see by the given scenario, it is very concerning.
We're only a little over a week away from facing this problematic behaviour, so there might be more to report on so that we can collectively discover the origin of such salty inferiority complex. Word on the street says that it stems from the events that happened prior to 1961, but I don't think the mayblooms ever mentioned that to me before, so I'll have to go with what I have.
