Carlton were probably the only team in the trade period to move on two very average players and somehow be worse as a list.

It will come down to how quickly their new fitness coach can get the squad fit and as injury free as possible. Our old mate Russell seemed to really lose the plot in his final years. Still have question marks over Voss as head coach as well. Very interesting watch for next year

For 2025 not so much death riding carlton as not worrying that our draft order drops if more cuccessful

I am so happy with this with my slightly autistic mind. No more thinking after a loss "oh well our draft pick will be better". 
I also have a 2nd game to keep a real eye on. And please keep it. 2017 was horriblewhen we sucked and had no draft pick to look forward to.

They need their 1+ goal per week from Owies + Kenned far more than we missed our .25 goals from BigBoy or Mitchell.
Remember that we were 2nd last(ish) & had nowhere to fall.
They're 8th - dropping 12 points per week probs sees them dropping 2-4 games, which sees them sitting 12th-14th; that's before you include the loss of Jack Martin (whatever he's worth?).
It's ALL about the Death Ride - we could clean up here.
Doesn’t help when crazy vossy was playing people after Russell said no, I imagine he checked out quickly after a couple of times
They'll be banking on a having Curnow, Cerra, Walsh and Weitering available a lot more this season, and if those four play full and effective seasons it'll be much more than a 12 point per game gain for them.
But hope is not a strategy. And if you can't absorb injuries in this league you'll death spiral.

Curnow and Weitering played 21 games this season and Walsh 19
They did not miss that many.Also Cripps played all 24 games
You could argue they realistically could miss more next season.
As for Cerra he has had longterm hamstring issues which will probably linger into the future
impossible team to place.
