So with the silly season here and rumours flying about, it would be interesting to know who knows what and how they know it.

So declare your source here. Don't name names obviously, just illustrate your connection. Let's sort the wheat from the chaff.

I have no club sources, have a little insight into the U18 system via my past involvement, but nothing id deacribe as a source.

My son's aunt is friends with Roo - went on a fishing trip in Darwin with him & Macca one year. I don't ask her for insights though.

Boss's wife works at the club. Christmas show is often illuminating. Don't get too many tid-bits throughout the year but occasionally do.
As a mod, a ton of you with better sources will share stuff with us that they don't/won't share publicly. Some collectively (PM threads often bigger and better than board threads ), some individually.

Sometimes I'll allude to such things, if the 'sources' are comfortable. But I rarely just repost them willy nilly unless someone asks me to so they are not the one sharing.

I'll give an example. When redhorse was talking about cameron being in town for chats - someone contacted me to let me know they worked at the gold club he had been reportedly working at. They asked me to delete a couple of posts but assured me Jez was in fact sighted there. Those sorts of things don't happen often but sometimes you get a bit of insight as a mod to those sorts of things.

Then over the last year got contacts with Fages and Shutts and Tom Rayner. Clearly they give no gossip though

Played footy at school with Seb Packer. When working at the casino missus and I rented out a room to a mate we worked with. His ex-misses, that we also worked with was banging Roo at the end of their relationship. I have an uncle who sees a board member every now and again. Another uncle's, sane aunty, brother was chairman for a while. And now a mate up here has recently told me that he's got a mate who works at the club. So I'm obviously heavily connected. Talking to me is exactly like talking to Roo or Fagan.

When i was working on the podcast i got a few of those. Mate got drafted to essendon the year they got busted but only played 1 game. Never gave me anything juicy though and i didnt ask, didnt want to get him in trouble if anything he told me leaked out
