I fully agree with you LL about Gaspar.
Some one mention Wooden F***88 Kiddin me he has been solid and consisten
I never liked him before but his strength and hard running has been awesome
Just watch his running ability since hes been back.
Munners
Humm
Collica is pi$$ weak
Green ?
Gaspar
R. Jones Trade
Trade COUSINS Get a Good deal and Give JUDD the Captaincy he is awesome
Carroll
Morrison Trade

ok.....

Munners - yes
Humm - yes
Collica - yes
Green - maybe
Gaspar - no! - the club have sent him over east for surgery and will be ready for round 1, the ammount of time they've put into him and the way they've come out and said they're being patient and hopeful because of the talent they know he has, they'll give him another year to stay injury free.
R.Jones - no! - he's a vice captain of our club, he's a good player and he's proved that over the last few years, atm he's not in the best forum but if you're to get rid of players like him you're being too cocky.
Cousins - HAHAHAHA? how long have you supported the wce? honestly, that's stupid. Our captain, our leader our best player of the last 4-5 years in our top 4 atm, not no1 because of injury.
Carroll - maybe - depends on whether we can get hay, he isn't too bad for defensive backup
Morrison - No, maybe earlier in the year, but if you opened your eyes he's been in great form the second half of the year, sure he's disposal isn't the best, but he finds alot of the ball and adds some experience to a young squad.

Biggest load of crap I've seen all week. Collica, Humm and Munro are likely, Green is a maybe, Carroll is a long shot, but Gaspar, Wooden and R. Jones are far from expendable.
Go back to FootyGoss.

R. Jones is useless cannot kick for ********** takes forever to get rid of it too sloooww
Gaspar sure he has talent, but how many more opportunities can you get please he has no no fu@$ in grunt / and he is heartless. I would rather give some one else a go

Wooden to stay

as for Cousins more wishful thinking His Disposals are terrible...

Jones is VC and was one of our best last year. If we dumped players after 1 poor season then Cox, Wirra, Fletcher, Braun and Embley would all be playing for another team.
What the hell do you mean Gaspar has "no no fu@$ in grunt"? Speak english moron. Pretty hard to demonstrate heart when you can't get on the field.

If you're a n00b it would be wise not to try to create controversy here...

For Otis_David: Graham is a developing CHB, about 198cm tall, lanky and mobile. Port Adelaide were interested in him in the last draft as a back-up ruckman. He has developed very well this year. He is an Eagle rookie, but was elevated early in the year when we had some injuries as security in case we lost another tall. He has been playing extremely well at CHB for Souths, as has Beeck for the Royals. Suddenly our stocks for CHB are exceptional-
Lynch / Hunter / Beeck / Graham

I concur with this assessment of Graham - he really looks the goods, though he will take some time to fully develop physically.

A wild thought occurred to me over the weekend: trade Jeremy Humm to Fremantle for Troy Longmuir. It's a winner.

I'd like to save T-Lo from Connelly's prejudice and play him at HFF (if he can break into the Eagles top 22, if not, I'll happily keep him at West Perth).

Jeremy Humm has everything the Dockers either need or historically have had. He's a ball-winning midfielder, very brave with more courage than sense, physically hard at it, poor disposal under pressure and bad hair.

It's perfect!

Why have Gaspar ? There's no room, the talls are Gardiner, Cox, Seaby, Johnson and Beeck. Where would you play him? There's no room, he wont be selected ahead of these five. Between Collica, Humm and Munro they will get delisted. Why keep them? There useless. Carroll, Green and Gaspar are'nt reguarlas, they've had there chance this season and in the past. Guys look for the Future. Who on the list wont be part of the Eagles future? Thats how I've compiled this list. Gaspar has had his chance, and when there is Gardiner, Cox, Seaby, Johnson and Beeck ahead of him, were is he goin to play? Is he goin to linger on the list in case of injuries? I doubt it, when his past matches for South Freo have been less than impressive!
Time to take your pills mate, and rejoin this reality.

Johnson, Beeck and possibly even Seaby are behind Gaspar at this stage. Talent isn't Gaspar's problem, injuries are. And BTW, which matches for South Freo are you talking about?

On a seperate note - Kasey Green was BOG again for east Freo on the weekend - I don't know if WAFL form will save him however.

I wouldn't say exceptional, but very good.

IMO Gaspar has been overtaken by Hansen, Staker, Seaby, Hunter and maybe one or two others.

A lot of people talk him up, but honestly, on the evidence I've seen, he just doesn't stack up.

He could be a good player if he ever gets on and stays on the park, but some rate him as the second son of god almighty. He may have more natural talent and ability than some others on the list but it means buggerall if his body isn't up to it.

But I'm open to convincing - but only for another year at most.

Wooden? Got to be kidding. He's in career best form.

As is Wirra, Braun, Morrison.

AGREE 100% - I sometimes wonder if people actually watch games before shooting their silly mouths off. Josh 'The Glove' Wooden has been fantastic - was great against Melbourne. An integral component who has earned a regular spot in the 22.

I don't think there's any doubt that our 2nd tier midfielders, especially Braun and Wooden, have been one of the main reasons for the late season form (along with the favourable draw of course :) ).

Chad Morrisson will be traded to a melbourne club - just watch it's the only reason why he's been playing well he doesn't like the way he's been treated by the eagles as i've informed all of you before... i can't wait until i can say 'i told you so!'

we could trade morrisson, a few draft picks and possibly cox, defnitely johnson(what the hell happened to him?) 4 someone like chris tarrant? *dreams*

if that was true, which i don't think it is, it would be a bit rich from Morrison in my opinion. He's done his knee twice, and on the back of that was still offered another contract. If he hadn't been his footy career might of been over.

Saying that, i don't think that is true. He's stated at the start of the season that his three main goals in footy were to give the club 10 years service, become a life member (150 games) and win a premiership.

Jess-Jess, no matter what thread, it looks like were not goin to agree. So I wont argue the toss, Ill just state the bleeding obivious, Gaspar useless and if Woosha dos'nt flick him this season than hes a certainty for next!

that's fine, i can agree to disagree. :)

it's a hard one. I'm hoping he'll pull through next year but going on his record with injuries i can see why you would think it's not worth keeping him.

I know! Why don't we throw in Judd as well!

Give up a top 10 Ruckman + a few draft picks as well as Morrison and Johnson for Tarrant. You certainly are dreaming.

Am i the only one who realises how sh*t cox is???
he's a good ruckman i'll give you that but Gardys better then him(btw top 10 doesn't mean anything when there r 16 clubs with 16 top ruckmen)..

He rarely kicks long, he loves to handpass(esp out of defence) he's got no clue as to second efforts(he can't bend his back) omg he's like a complete unco with his kicking..

But for the moment he plays for the eagles so GO COXY YOU LEGEND

If you think Cox is ******** youre dreaming

There are 15 other AFL clubs who would love to have him

Gardy is a hell of a ruckman, but to say Cox is ******** because Gardy is better, well you may as well say every ruckman in the AFL is ********

Ive seen Cox kick long plenty of times. The handball out of defence is usually to the more skilled running backline or midfield player so why wouldnt he? It's also part of the West Coast playbook to try and get the ball to the "quarterback" when rebounding off the backline.

Cox is definitely more agile than other ruckman his size, a number of times ive seen him collect a ball off the ground you wouldnt expect him to. Admittedly his kicking can be suspect, but that seems to have come to the fore more this season.

And more to the point, if Cox is so ******** why would any other club want him for trade? Omg Omg

er, not sure what you're smoking, but I don't want any.

For a ruckman his size, I think he's pretty good in bending his back - and he'd want to be, the number of handpasses his team-mates give him.

If he has a weakness, it's his ability to direct the ball in the ruck contests directly to a running team-mate - which Gardiner is outstanding at (almost telepathic) and both Seaby & Beeck are pretty good at such a young age. But, as the year has worn on, he's tended to punch the ball forward into space (presumably under instruction), which plays to our midfield's strength (pace and hardness at the football), so that we race into attack.

I think Coxy's had a terrific year and bearing in mind how young he is for a ruckman, I'm sure there's plenty more improvement in him.

if cox is ******** how come st kilda were all over him last year and i hear ess are looking this year maybe they might go seaby over crap cox.

Let me get this right: Cox is sh*t because Gardy's better than him?

Lay off whatever it is you're taking, because its making you delusional. Cox started this year as our #2 ruckman, and is now in the top 5 in the competition - and that's against most other club's #1 ruckman. He just gave Jeff White (a potential AA ruckman this year) a bath on the weekend.
