Go and watch Scrimshaw play and Aaron Young play, they are miles apart, Scrimshaw is no pea heart, where as Aaron Young is a caraway seed.

Me too. His ceiling isn't high but considering Essendon's year, he was one of their more consistent performers.

There seems to be a gentleman’s agreement amongst clubs that if they delist a contracted player and make a statement that they will attempt to rookie list that player than no other clubs steps in. In a competitive industry it is very strange.

I get that, but there's a difference between a kid that needs a change of scenery, and a bloke who was performing well at another club and goes to a basketcase like the Suns and can't get a game.

Jarryd Lyons says "How you doin'." Played well at Crows when they were playing well, takes an offer at Suns, cant get a game under Dew for whatever reason and moves up the road and 4th in the Lions B&F. Not saying Young is right for us but coaches and teams sometimes see different things and it doesn't always pan out like the player hoped.
