And I'm sure you have no personal stake in this at all, but nice way to not address his points while trashing Hawthorn.

My only stake is my love of the game, seeing Tasmania sucked dry by Victorian teams for years, seeing people make personal ignorant comment about this matter.
I have made countless comment when it comes to Tassie footy & the VFL/AFL boys club.
I dont have to respond to every opinion written as if it were some kind of fact. Clearly those comments from 'Chewy' were more like a poor troll effort than some sort of discussion point.
I'm also not the only person who sees the Hawthorn deal for what it is.
And that is without doubt, IMO & in many others too

Considering he uses the monthly payment price as the per match price the Tassie membership is only $7.27 game. Plus the membership isnt just gate entry, it includes scarf and a bunch of other small extras, so hardly surprising theres a difference comparing 2 games Vs 11 on a per game basis. Our 3 game member package is $80, a better deal but hardly earth shattering. Hardly surprising we see such rock solid facts on BF though is it?

Anyway it matters not, the only thing that matters is:

Its rude because you trying to push another club under the bus to save your own club. In fact by most measures North have been far better than Melbourne have for at least the last 40 years!!!

Rubbish. If I remove "Melbourne" from the profile and replace it with your mob, would you still be responding like that? Of course not. If Melbourne was the weakest club in the AFL (from a crowds/members/money point of view), then they would be facing the chop. But they are not. As for recent records, that is more tripe. Should we remove St Kilda or the Bulldogs because they have only won one premiership? What about Richmond, who haven't done anything for the past 30 years? North were the most successful team of the 90's, with the GF's and 2 flags. And Wayne Carey. They had a chance to really build a big supporter base and failed.
