I don't know if this is an attempt at humour or sentence structuring.

So..umm...yeh.

hehe, fair enough.

I actually don't rate this win very highly because the hawks were so pathetic and soft. We'll probably finish somewhere between 5-8, fighting with 5 ther clubs for the 4th spot.

By round 11 Carlton will be 2-9, and round 22 they will be 2-20. I know what I'd rather.

Collingwood 2nd yet again

Serious question guys and not trying to pump up my team or anything.

When will the Dees get some respect from other footy followers?

Like i mean its fair enough that we dont get it after so many soft marshmallow like collapses after the past couple of years but how long till we can be considered a good team challenging for say a spot in the top 4-8?

We play West Coast next week over there anyone give us a realistic chance..? i know i do but i could be biased. Just as a note its been 1350 days since West Coast lost to a Victorian side over in Subi and that was the Dees in 2002.

any chance those days are over?

There are different styles of winning. Melbourne teams of the past have won games with superb skill and speed. Alot of risk taking that if it comes off looks brilliant.

The way the dees have won their last 5 has been completely different. They have clearyl been working on their clearances and appear to have a fantastic mix. From here, it all comes down to injuries. If Melbourne can keep a similar team to that on the park...

Well, lets just say I think they could go very close on a day in Sept on the ground they play so very very well at.

I respect what the D's have done in the last 5 matches.

And I think they are an all round solid ball club.

You beat Hawthorn.

Correction- We SMASHED Hawthorn

:D

Enjoy another year down the bottom, i here its a decent draft. Hopefully you'll learn from your mistakes in 04, and use a top 5 pick to get somebody whos actually able to break into your 22 *cough Franklin...

show us a seriously good win for once. not just a one goal win over the swans. one day your time will come. 72 year premiership drought by swans.... and pretty soon there's hopefully gonna be another one broken. Geelong?, Saints?, I think the doggies look like they have a chance. the dees were good last season until that west coast game and then the demons came back to earth with a thud.

I'm sure most people find it difficult to break into a side when they are not playing at all because they're injured

I for one give the Dee's a chance next week, although it will be tough and they will have to be at their best and IMO they are capable of beating the Eagles. But i'm wondering why you care so much about respect. F&%k respect from opposition supporters when your team's winning games. And if I were you I would be hoping for more than a 4-8 finish.

he's been playing reserves for about a month, which is stupid, he should definitely be getting picked every week
