Ollie only has himself to blame for not being in the side yesterday. It was pretty ordinary for you to post the screenshot of Johnson on Twitter at a point in time yesterday when he's displayed greater consistency of application and greater hunger. And frankly, quite unlike you to be particularly critical of a player like that, but I suppose it's to be expected because he's in Henry's way.Given nobody could take a mark yesterday, I would think the opposite.

But you've been down on Johnson since pre-season and very forgiving of Henry all along. As I said, he needs to step up and not act like he's to be gifted a spot. I still haven't been able to get over how he turned his back and walked away from North players accosting Ginnivan this year.

Oh please Jathanas, spare me the white knighting. This is a forum in which people discuss their opinions - putting their opinions out in public leaves them open for scrutiny, does it not? Or are we just spouting our opinions into a vacuum? What would the posters who view Henry's lack of application as a problem be writing here if it was Ollie that played AJ's game on Saturday?
Both are talented, both have aspects of their game to improve on.
None of us have a view that's 100% objective, even if we'd prefer to see it as such.
Worry less about being a critic of Jen's views and more about expressing your own. Play ball.

I was critical over Jen's long rope she gives Henry because ??? but her instant dismissal of AJ over a poor game. It's not playing the man (or woman in this case) at all, it's being critical of her opinion. Which no one should be immune to on a discussion based forum.

I think you're seeing things that aren't there. As you say people are allowed to have opinions (and their favourites), but to me it seems you've made a sport of questioning Jen's.
Perhaps ask yourself if you've been as enthusiastic in your critiquing of other's views as you have been of querying hers?
It's fine to disagree mate, but I think you've gone a bit too hard. Hence this post, and it's just my view.
If you are going to criticise a Twitter post, maybe that is the forum on which to do so? Doing it here makes it at least somewhat personal.I think you're seeing things that aren't there.
Trade period is gonna be so juicy this year. I reckon just let it flow, gonna be real good viewingWhat would the posters who view Henry's lack of application as a problem be writing here if it was Ollie that played AJ's game on Saturday?

Oh boy, if you want to talk about someone who is enthusiastic in their particular criticism of individuals. I don't think you've ever replied to a comment I have made with one iota of positivity. You've made me feel very unwelcome in the past.If you are going to criticise a Twitter post, maybe that is the forum on which to do so? Doing it here makes it at least somewhat personal.
Just focus on learning from the criticism.Oh boy, if you want to talk about someone who is enthusiastic in their particular criticism of individuals. I don't think you've ever replied to a comment I have made with one iota of positivity. You've made me feel very unwelcome in the past.
Righto mate. None of us are above critiquing of opinions about football. That's what my original comment was about. Rushing to the defence of someone because they received a reasonable pushback on their view is ridiculous. All's I'm saying.Just focus on learning from the criticism.
No, he is notI think you're seeing things that aren't there.
Yes, he really is. The only user I have particular enthusiasm in criticising here is Kappa. Everyone else is pretty fair game - particularly if I am criticising their opinion, like I did in this case. Honestly this is getting laughable now. I wish this many people would come to my aid when someone pushes back against my point of view! No, he is not

Thanks doc, been meaning to get back in touch with my therapist but you've set me on the straight and narrow.A good sign of an opportune moment to pause for reflection is when we perceive that everyone else is the problem.
Not quite living up to your pfpThanks doc, been meaning to get back in touch with my therapist but you've set me on the straight and narrow.

"In sum, it can be difficult to hold bullies accountable for their actions".
i've always found that when there is disagreement in a group of people, I normally suggest for them to take a moment and sing this...
So now I'm being called a bully because I criticised someone's opinion? This has really jumped the shark.A quick skim of that article led me to what is clearly the key message,
