No I’m not insulting him any more since the sod off comment that was probably uncalled for and pretty ordinary of me.
‘He is very politically minded it seems. Not just on the voice. Whereas I’m 59 years old & I haven’t Voted for either party in over 20 years. I don’t trust either of them as far as I can throw them. So I should have just bit my lip. Live & learn I guess. Even at my age.
It’s a referendum, nothing to do with the parties. Do you want Aboriginal people recognised in the constitution?
Yes or no

90%+ would vote for recognition, including me.

That's not what is being proposed though.

Sadly, Albo also made it political (intentionally in my view, thinking he could score political points with an easy win) by refusing to engage or consult with anyone outside of his hand selected group of idealogues.

It is a real shame. A lot of Yes voters I speak to agree regarding the process.

Funny how the Coalition never gave much thought to constitutional recognition until they could use it as a wedge in this referendum. Really makes you think.

Tony Abbott proposed constitutional recognition for indigenous people in 2014.

Really makes you wonder what some people read.

I'm also a bit concerned that 20 major financial contributers to the yes vote are owned by Vanguard. They aren't even Australian owned companies, they are all American owned. Why does one of the largest financial institutions in the world who is American owned, want to finance our referendum.

The fact they have Australian Customers and Staff might have something to do with it.

Vanguard, Blackrock, Statestreet etc are foreign owned and all have index funds

By definition, this means they will be passively invested in all of the top 200 Australian listed companies (and more)

Which means they are passive owners of many of Australia’s biggest corporate YES donors

(they are also passive owners of many of the AFL’s sponsors)

Anyone who is tapped in to what is really going on in the world today knows the evil index funds drive global markets. Passive shmassive.

And has spent a lot of time in aboriginal communities. Albo did a few hours in a luncheon in Alice Springs then rushed off to the tennis for 3 days. If he had any balls he would have walked the streets with a police patrol ( without prior notice) to see what’s actually going on.

I'm worried a foreign scum called Murdoch topples PMs at will and owns half our media. He's against the referendum, and all his little mouths fall in line.

His dad ran a lying smear campaign against our best General in WWI l. Murdochs papers hacked a murdered girls phone to steal the messages.

He backed that Trump blokes halfarsed coup attempt when they tried to hang the vice President of our biggest ally.

Murdoch Royal Commission pls. And all the Murdoch mouths stfu.
