Did any current or past AFL players attend your school as a student?

Long bombs to snake.

I went to school with about four VFL/AFL players, but I was only on speaking terms with one or two, the others were "at the school" but I didn't know them. I grew up in Kew which had some decent footy schools.

I attended the same school at the same time as Aaron Hamill and can remember seeing him there ( he wasn't in my year) as well:thumbsu:

Swan, Lloyd, Madden brothers, Balta, Foulds, Bolton, J Daniher and others
We played football against you guys.
We hardly ever won a game, made even worse in my year 12 by our only 'star' player (who was playing for the Jets too) suffering a shoulder injury and having to sit out the year. His replacement on the ground at the Jets did pretty well for himself - Shannon Grant.

I probably got more knees to the guts than I did hitouts some games.

Apparently we had some gambling addicted spud who liked to get drunk and threaten to kill journalists, he ended up playing a few games for a local AFL side, think his name was Simon Goodwin.

Dad played school footy with Malcolm Blight

I remember Con Gorozidis being our best cricketer and and footballer at our school and he went to play for St.kilda and Footscray back in the day and he also played A grade cricket with the brighton union cricket club. I use to be in the same classes with his late younger brother Greg who was also a gifted cricketer and there was a another younger brother George who played a few games with the dees and in a premiership winning team sandringham.

Well Ill be did you go to BHS?

Greg was a good friend of mine as well.

No mate mate I went to BTS which was demolished and I also know he is no longer with us.
Had a lot of mates that went BTS, Greg ended up there after form 3 or 4
, yeah unfortunately Greg passed away many years back now, as have a couple of other good friends from those days.
Craig Mills was another great player from our era, would have been the best of the lot had he not broken his leg at the Saints.

Correct, I remember him being in my year 10 classes and the scary thing was even back then he use to talk about death.
