Whilst not fitting your criteria, I do find myself thinking of my grandfather. Passed in '09, ran the club during the peak of the Colliwobbles - he wore those dark periods as much as anyone. Yet still was on the outer with the members during all the tough times of the late 90s and onward.
Think he'd have loved this mob, especially all the sons of some of his favourites. (I've derailed the thread, but I am still emotional!)
