Was Clare rocking the black top and oversize sunglasses?

Room for one car on the left of the carport, and one under cover. Wide enough that either could get out without moving the other.
Clare is not in this photo. It looks to be just the foster parents’ legal teams captured in this frame. IMO

From an update to the News.com.au / NewsWire article:

'Water science expert Professor Jon Olley was brought in by NSW Police as a consultant during the dig.

“In summary it was fair to say the search described was extremely thorough,” asked barrister John Stratton SC, who is appearing for William’s foster parents.

“It was an extremely thorough search,” Professor Olley said.

He told the court that a polyester suit similar to the Spider-Man outfit William was wearing on the day he disappeared would have taken centuries to degrade.

“The estimate is hundreds of years,” Professor Olley said.

The court has heard that no traces of William have ever been found, however the search did uncover animal bones including kangaroo limbs.

The court heard that Professor Olley also sent an email to a wildlife expert at the Department of Primary Industries asking if any bones could have been taken by pigs and wild dogs.'
100 years! If the suit is buried somewhere else anywhere there’s a chance someone might find it one day.

Re: "The court heard that Professor Olley also sent an email to a wildlife expert at the Department of Primary Industries asking if any bones could have been taken by pigs and wild dogs.'

Does anybody know if the court heard a reply to that question?

If the truck driver was found because of his phone then there would be a TIME he drove along the road where he saw THE FM

wonder if he saw what she was wearing and if it was the same clothes the neighbours saw she was wearing?

I wonder if the police did a luminal test where the ladder was?

From the AAP article:

'The court heard from Griffith University’s Professor Jon Olley, an expert in geomorphology and how water changes landscapes, who helped NSW Police design and carry out the search.

He said officers canvassed the area in a “very thorough” manner.

The polyester Spider-Man suit William was wearing would have lasted hundreds of years if the three-year-old’s body had been dumped in a local creek, Prof Olley said.

Rubber-soled shoes and sandals would have lasted for decades before breaking down, he added.

In looking for William, police followed through on tip-offs from prison inmates and clairvoyants claiming to have information, the court was told.

“Given the circumstances of possible pedophile involvement in William’s disappearance, it would have been remiss of police not to follow up on these leads,” Mr Craddock said.

One lead involved neighbours hearing a car doing a U-turn in the street outside the foster grandmother’s home about the time of the disappearance, he told the court.

But police were unable to verify that information or track down the vehicle. ...

Pedophile Frank Abbott – who was a person of interest in William’s disappearance but cleared by police – watched the inquest from a cell at Long Bay prison telling Ms Grahame he wanted to give further evidence.

Other potential suspects such as Bill Spedding and Paul Savage were investigated but later cleared of involvement in the kidnapping, the coroner heard.'
So Savage has been cleared, and I already knew Speddo was cleared.

That’s good to know. I’m interested in what Abbott has to say.

This person is going to be the key witness. That’s my prediction.

Regarding the suit. It’s probably been either:

*Cut into 1000 pieces
*Burned
*Taken overseas on another holiday and placed in a foreign airport bin
Etc etc.
That suit is never going to be recovered, and neither will the shoes. IMO

It’s like Gerard Craddock SC said at the first part of the inquest, “William was taken by a sneaky, complex offender.”

Note:
The allegation that she had something to do with William’s disappearance has been persistently and vehemently denied by the foster mother.

The foster parents have sold all manner of drums. Stainless steel drums. 240L plastic drums. The drums are a major feature of their GumTree sales.

That’s just to say that you can get rid of almost anything in a drum. You can burn it, you can put acid in it. Etc.

Obviously there is nothing wrong with selling drums. It’s not illegal, and lots of people use them for a lot of normal occupational reasons.

If the FM has done something, all of the evidence would be gone.imo Because they have access to what they need to destroy evidence.

Now I’m not saying she’s done anything. I have no evidence to suggest she has.

Attached: Recent pics of items sold on one of the foster parents two GumTree pages.

Only social media posts are covered by the NPO, and GumTree is not social media. Also I have removed the seller’s name and all reference to localities to abide by the NPO’s.

ok you have my attention.
Are you able to say how recent they were advertised?

Polyester is highly flammable, easily melted and can be broken down by a number of chemical methods ( e.g dissolve with glycol). It is also easily pulverised and broken up.
But I reckon the simplest and smartest method of disposal would be to mingle it with domestic plastics in any recycling bin. Shove it inside a plastic drink bottle or similar and let the recycling plant take care of it.

So the 240L plastic drum is currently active. The other listings are “recent”. I think the wooden barrel was like 2 Christmases ago.

Details of the 240L plastic drum currently for sale:

Used, empty 240 Litre plastic drums.
Has been rinsed. Good for storage for farm/garden. Not for drinking water use.
$10 each or 5 for $30.
I can cut in half or the tops off if you need.

Starting to feel sick

If it was a strangers car with presumably, William being snatched in the FGM driveway, William had to circle the house completely and come out at that driveway, the stranger stops, gets out of their car, snatches William who doesn't scream, gets back in the car and shuts the door maybe two doors and drives off, the FM nor the FGM heard any of this only metres away.

Yet the Crabbes heard a car turn around at the FGM house.
Maybe they were not strangers

It is important if FM changed clothing before and after drive. Hope they ask about detail from the truck driver.

Was dirty clothes checked on the day? For FM FD FGM.

Fm shoes what shoes was she wearing what soil traces on her shoes.
Hope they looked with a scanning microscope.

and if he saw anything in the car.

The neighbour was away 48 is at the end of the road on a corner. If there was a car noise at the time William disappeared wouldn’t the FM think it was FF home early and go and look?

I think William was disposed of by a sneaky complex offender. It is in the detail.

The detail of the "sneaky complex offender" thing is that Mr Craddock was quoting from a book (I searched for a sentence of what he'd been recorded saying):

Investigating Missing Children Cases: A Guide for First Responders and Investigators by Donald F. Sprague

Google Books has a preview of the 2012 edition and the "sneaky complex offender" is in chapter 3, page 27:

IMG_1787.jpeg

Last two paragraphs: "An offender in a runaway (if child is enticed/solicited) or abducted child case can come in all shapes, sizes, colors, genders, economic statuses, and could be the most inconspicuous person. We really do not know who the offender or abductor will be or who has either enticed a child to run away by use of the Internet or other means. It could be the father, the mother, an uncle, an aunt, a family member, the neighbor, a friend (close or slight acquaintance), a person of trust, or a stranger. The offender/abductor may be a person known or unknown. Who really knows? (Only the offender does.)

There is no doubt that everyone in a missing child investigation is a suspect until proven differently. The offender in such crimes is a sneaky complex offender who has hidden his or her desires for some time and has chosen to act on those desires. The following chapters are written to give the responding officer, the investigator, and his or her department some insight and tools to start with and use throughout their investigations of a runaway or missing child in identifying a victim or offender."

Omg. Excellent pickup there.
