When FM allegedly heard the "scream", tried to investigate but found the bush too dense, it seems strange she would just abandon the idea of him possibly being there. Wouldn't you alert someone else or make sure the police looked there? So did she actually hear anything at all?

(Sorry if I've missed any "basic facts" again. I'm no Caroline Overington in terms of knowledge [or 31550 for that matter], just a new poster who has followed the case and am sharing thoughts like we all are).
A lot of her initial behaviour didn’t make a lot of sense.

If she really thought it was William’s scream she would have persisted. She likely realised it was another sound that she was hoping was him IMO.

Ever heard of post traumatic memory lapses? It's actually a thing.
She said he was taken, abducted, kidnapped.
Then remember the cars for god's sake and not the cups of tea.
Leaving it out of the 000 call maybe, but not maybe.
But for days, NO.
Well no to both.

Imo FM likes the narrative. She has been storytelling all the way along. About the health of their parenting..About abduction hoax factors. About reasons for car trip..About a scream from the bush. it's ALL designed to hide the truth. That is just another one of COG lies.

The scream implies in subtle way that either he was taken and harmed OR that he wandered off and got into trouble and was hurt . Either way she's not responsible. The lies are so painfully obvious..

iF she seriously thought it was a child's scream she would chase it down....not merely mention it and hide behind the lie. Which characterises it exactly as a lie that she didn't

Of course it would be better if she could remember them more clearly.

A poster a few days ago had contact with a searcher who also said there were 2 cars in that spot. It’s frustrating the lack of consistency from all witnesses, even the neutral ones.

Paul Savage also saw two cars in that spot, he thinks it was the previous day. Before WT disappeared.

I think it is very possible that the man at 35 Benaroon had visitors who parked there. But we know so little about that person. Other than he left town about 3 weeks after WT disappeared. He is the man that FGM thought might have something to do with WT's disappearance.

Ok, pairs then. But you can have multiple pairs from different dens in the area. Dens are often full of bones.
I would think if foxes were in the area back in 2014 there would have been fur tufts and footprints and dung around.

Didn’t one of the police take the family tovDiamond Head to talk to William’s sister while they investigated the owner of 48 B Drive?
It was Wendy Hudson on Monday 15th that took both foster parents and the other child to Diamond Beach.

2 cars in that spot IN THE AFTERNOON!! Ie after the FM had already hid his body. Kinda relevant that it needs to be there beforehand..

Yes but they weren't looking for foxes back in 2014.
We don't know that as far as I am aware the first mention of foxes was very recent. Made me considee if they had trail cameras installed to ascertain what animals might be scavenging in particular areas. Locals may have mentioned sightings too

I think she took them on Tuesday 16th. FD was interviewed by a child specialist detective on Monday 15th.

In a statement, senior constable Wendy Hudson reveals details of the initial search for William and his foster family's reaction. Ms Hudson said she took the family to a nearby beach, in plain clothes, while searchers continued to look for William on September 16.

Oh there couldn't be anyone parked on the street because no one never parked on the street. Said by foster mother and Jubelin in parrot fashion word for word almost ... wink wink.

Edit I have no idea how satiated appeared. I had put in Said.

The cadaver dog passed by that location the very next day. If a cadaver had been there but taken away by foxes the night before it would have indicated. It didn't. It wasn't there ever

If a searcher saw the cars in that spot that would mean that was after the 000 call.
Because people, apart from the neighbours, weren't searching yet.
And nobody else saw them?

At regular speed perhaps. No time to stick your head out the window and look for William though, so seems a bit pointless. Wasn't that supposed to be the purpose? And then no time to get out of the car and look around (as written by Jubelin in his book, but that might be fiction too). Did she really expect William to be walking down the middle of BCR?
I don’t know.
Where would he go?
What would FM think?
Did FM have time to make sure William was in a place he couldn’t be found?
Did FM have marks on her from the dense bush?

I wonder if the Police already have everything they need and there's no need for us to discuss anything.

Thanks for that date correction it seems you are correct. Post on BF which I just found verifies. Post #1913.

Wasn't 16th also the day the BS was authorized to return to 48 to repair the washing machine?

Sorry. I am more interested in why the man at 35 Benaroon didn't answer his door when FM knocked there while looking for William. Why he moved away 3 weeks after William disappeared. Why his house was searched 3 times in the first 24 hours. And how he has flown under the radar when the other close neighbours have all spoken up about that morning - all tried to help.

Maybe not. If she placed William as close as Cobb and Co on 12th and if he was found shortly thereafter that may have supported the abduction theory she pushed out. It would have acted to support her theory.

Yes but wouldn’t FM be a prime suspect given she admitted she’d driven there.
Has FM alluded police for 10 years when she told them exactly where she drove to dispose of William?

Maybe he was asleep or in the shower or on the loo...
