I imagine it would be interesting for one as they grew older to get some insight into the way that one’s former foster parents were speaking about one’s brother’s disappearance, and speaking about her too.

Well .... I thought that the FM and FGM had different narratives about breakfast . Breakfast was allegedly around 8:30 to 9:00 according to FM. and FGM had breakfast with children and FF had definitely left. But FGM said FF left at 8:00. So very confusing. But the common narrative was that William had orange juice. The important things are not clear IMO, but they both remember the orange juice and were very specific. So I called it "special" orange juice in a previous post.

They seem to say that William had juice. Maybe they all had juice. Maybe William just liked orange juice and it was a treat for him.

But now that you mention it. I wonder if there could have been something in the orange juice. I think IMO William looked a bit distracted in the photo. He was not looking at the camera, he was not smiling or drawing. The FGM said he had a lot of energy, but that energy is not evident in the photo. Could FPs have given William sedation to control his behaviour?

Do you know if this has been mentioned in any media coverage please?

I thought I read that he had stated at inquest or perhaps an interview tape was played where the truckdriver Peter said his dashcam was not working on 12th.

gymjam, are you talking about Peter's call to 2GB in 2014 when he said: "I didn't have the camera on on the dashboard"? See post 7,404 from earlier today.

I think there was not much reported from the inquest and the only article I saw that mentioned the dashcam was by the NewsWire reporter:

"Mr Bashkurt also said while he often used a dashcam, he didn’t have one equipped on that day.
“I wish I did, I didn’t have one on that vehicle that day,” he said."

Nothing I've seen (apart from here) reported that Peter denies saying what was written in his witness statement.

Her own classroom teacher would be aware of her foster status. Other teachers may not be told (need to know) but typically they all find out. They may not all know her legal name.

How confused the child must have been. What an awful nightmare to live a life through. Even everything about your real identity and your real bioligical parents stripped away even your self stripped away until there was nothing left but darling children hiding under tables, too afraid to sleep,kicking and biting, cutting hair of kinder mates to change their appearance like they were changed, throwing things, begging not to be hurt anymore, crying out for help, being locked outside because you dared as a 2yo to soil a nappy, being sworn at and hit and kicked and bruised ... oh the horse did that, and told to sit on a marble floor and threatened if you soiled the floor your face would be rubbed in it ... all because you were denied toilet relief whilst sitting out a punishment session.

This is a mummy dearest horror story!

Geez the children were even forced by these 2 wonderful caring loving foster carers to call their real biological mother 'biomum' and father 'biodad' as reported in the media. tThe fister carers must be so proud they are too scared to reveal themselves or is it really they are too embarrased to show their own real identity.it will happen one day and more stories may finally see the very bright light of day.

Its damn crazy ... did someone push the big red button and say step into my wonderful world of our nutty farm experiment?

If this story was made into a true story movie script it would have to be placed in the 'horror genre' for sure. Who would be chosen to play the make believers?

That may be true, however, in this case it was a woman. The police were still recording. The truck driver times are within, but can't be sure it actually fits.

I’m not sure how this was recorded but hopefully as discreetly as possible.
Trying to get my head around why the truck driver was called to give evidence. We know he was in the area he’s said he saw three cars and a blonde lady.

Don’t run down Maccas. Pre schools have food vouchers because the parents cannot feed their children. A acquaintance’s daughter told me the children were fed but they could not feed the mother. Even though they work a big car bill etc could come in. Doctors don’t always bulk bill. I think they’re but the grace of God go I. Some parents can at least buy a cheese burger.

William had dinner around what 6.30 went to bed did not eat till about 8.30. Except for some yogurt allegedly. 14 hours without food. He was awake at 5.50 according to FF why didn’t he get him some cereal?
The FM allegedly wanted to sleep in

I’m just wondering.. around the urgency of the FF needing to have his script filled “they just help me, um, relax”….. Maybe the FF was getting a script filled that day for William. Like, maybe they were giving W some of the FF meds.

I imagine that as it gets darker and your foster kids bedtime passes and he hasn’t been found yet, that you could quite easily experience a panic attack.

Maybe he saw a ghost.

Yes children in care are enrolled In school under the minister of the state as their legal guardian. This includes authorisation for pickups, who can attend the school and the child’s participation in activities/excursions.

Yes, but FM made a point of saying that it was a rare treat. This is what made me think they might have been monitoring his diet. I wonder if the Maccas might have made WT more than usually active, "jumping out of his skull" as FGM said.

Yes I was wondering if he was on a low sugar diet in an attempt to reduce his over activity. That might also explain him being thinner.
