Maybe the coroner made a finding that - while unlikely - a search of the property must be fully undertaken before the coroner can make further ruling

ie dotting I's and crossing Ts

I think the police might be acting both independently on their own investigations and under coronial orders. Signs the police were turning their attention on the fosters were there at the last inquest when on the 'Where's William Tyrrell?' podcast Xanthe Mallett heavily criticised Jubelin's replacement as the new head of Rosann Taskforce for his body language and lack of support for the fosters. She actually said he was shaking his head in disapproval - an indication he didn't believe her - when the FM was on the stand.

Xanthe Mallett is #teamJubes so I do take her “expert opinion” with a grain of salt.

Just adding to this:

Tim Watson-Munro is a forensic psychiatrist. Very very interesting.

Would be a good guy to have on your side if you wanted to utilise a mental health defence against some charges.

The thing they all have in common in that group picture though, isn't the William Tyrrell case. It's that they've all authored books.

The man with the white hair whose name escapes me atm, also writes books.

Edit: It is actually Duncan McNab

The book 'Searching for Spiderman' by Ally Chumley has been banned in NSW over legal issues and pulled from the shelves. With that in mind, some excerpts in this thread will need to be removed.

It has excellent reviews though, you might pick a new copy up out of the UK. Ally attended both the 2019 and the 2020 inquests.

Searching for Spiderman
Reading it right now. Downloaded from local library.

Has the book got any further info over what we know now?
I’ve read about 6 chapters so far. William has just disappeared and FF just got back. I think we know most of it so far. The confusion over timing - was it 5 minutes or 15 minutes etc. There was a discrepancy over the time on the photo that was subsequently changed - turned out the time had never been set on the newish camera, but then it was, which accounted for the difference.

She quotes social media comments quite often. People were quick to judge and condemn the FPs for every little thing. Such as saying they had no right to grieve as they weren’t the biological parents, etc etc. It’s no wonder the FPs clammed up. I hope I never get into the news for the wrong reasons.

For me, although it possibly has no relevance to William's disappearance, the book provides some insight into how William came into the care of the foster parents via FACS/DOCS. IMO it casts a dubious light on FACS/DOCS as it alleges / suggests that this was planned by FACS before William was even born, and with the knowledge of foster parents, which would seem at best, inappropriate given the "12-month" rule, and at worst quite sinister.
What has not been explored publicly, probably because of suppression orders, is the role of FACS/DOCS as William's legal guardian, and how this might have hampered solving his case.

The book is available for download as an epub if you Google for it.

Long-time lurker, first-time poster after recently rejoining BF, have followed this case for years.

Far as I can see, the moment you try to purchase as an ebook it becomes unavailable.
Yes, that is true. I paid for mine and read it and later downloaded some books from a different source that corrupted my folder and it had to be reloaded with a loss of all books. One of these was the Ally book and I haven't been able to recover it as it's no longer available.

The author explains well how discrepancies occur in witness statements. They are not lying, they believe what they’re saying is the truth, even though they might remember things differently later on. I suppose the police are also not beyond having similar recall issues, unless they record or write down everything immediately. Anna’s appearance, way of speaking, and explanations were criticised from the outset, which made her self conscious and appear confused.

The author recommends that parents invest in GPS locator devices that children can wear or have attached to their clothes.

It's been a while since I read anything out of the book but remember it as being quite well written and balanced. It was alarming how many sex offenders were living in the area.

I think GPS devices for kids schoolbags and in their watches are fairly easy to get now. They're a great idea.
