Well, I hope that the Mernda boys don't go in there with that attitude, because that's a surefire way to end up getting your asses kicked.
I watched the 3rds against South Morang a few weeks ago (when I was down at Mernda for my Dad's Legends Day, witch went really well with all 3 teams winning
), and they looked fantastic, and I thought there and then, that Mernda were the team to beat, and if you all stay together, a potentially strong Senior team in the future.But remember, don't take Whittlesea lightly, Mernda has a poor record at Grand Finals, and the Eagles would like nothing more to beat us to win it, so you need to get 'em early and swoop on them.

no mernda players have talked us up its everyone else talking us up, none of the boys are talking up winning, whittlesea are a quality side and this particular group of blokes have won about 5 or 6 flags together. should be a very exciting game, make sure u get down 9:00am Cramer street to support the red and blue!
It will be as good as if Epping were playing North Heidelberg in Div 1. Although there are some good players for both sides in Shelton who is a gun and would be a gun in Div 1 if fit, Anderson can play the game and would hold his own, and the Seas, well dont know too much about them.
I will be there though to watch a game of football, hopefully a good game.

I have to wait & see how I go (I live in Shepparton at the moment), but I am going down to Melbourne for the weekend, but I have to wait & see if I can get there on time (I would have to leave pretty early, to get there).
I'll wear my Murchison gear (Green & Gold) if I go so I can be spotted.
How's your head from last weekend? Hope you were pretty sore to explain why you were laying on the ground while your team was still a chance to avoid going out in straight sets.
Think Mernda will win but by saying that the team that beat you will be beaten by 12 goals shows how you think you would've gone.

mernda has been the standout out team all year, hursti nearly knockt mernda off cause personally i beleive we match up good on them, whitttlesea knockt us off last week cause they match up good on us,
in my opinion they wont match up great on merda's side! thats why i beleive its goin to be one sided!
ive played both sides in the past 2 weeks and mernds's my tip, $30 for 39+

What was everyones thoughts on the game? I thought we had them covered all day and they just didn't have any answers to the 10 goal partnership of Westy7 and LLmoose.

nice moosey lol, great f**king way to win it wasnt a walkova, credit to the whittlesea boys they were hard to strugg off untill a 10 minute laps in the third and a couple of last quarter shannon nolls to bring the choclates back to mernda! WAS THAT AN LLMOOSE WHO GOT BEST ON GROUND???
