That's correct. The only time that Uni High lead all day was after the final siren. They were behind all day as Peninsula scored first and Uni High tied the scores with about 30 seconds to go in regular time.Read the Herald Sun report about the Preliminary Final. Am I correct that the story is saying the the Uni team won in extra time, after the siren and it was the first time they were in front all day? If so amazing statistical occurrence. The team already in the grand final must be favorites after that roller coaster.

Any team of the year thoughts ? Not sure if they still do these but always a good talking point amongst clubs
Not sure Benny would make it for us. Joel Mattiske the most likely off half back for me.Can only speak from the games I've seen, but a few opposition players worth consideration
Preston - Sammartino (fwd) - unfortunately Preston only played Kew once and it was a pretty comprehensive victory for Kew. I'm sure one or both of the Calcedo's will make it but I don't know who else from Preston has been instrumental in turning their season around, having not seen them at all since Round 6.
UHS - Ramsay (mid), Legudi (fwd), Deveraux (fwd)
Peninsula - Glenn (mid), Harbinson (fwd), Fisher (ruck)
Therry - Gough (back), McCracken (back), B.Egglestone (mid), O'Halloran (fwd)
Oakleigh - Cloke (fwd), Ioannidis (wing)
St.Marys - Andrews (mid)
Prahran - Hume (back), Falcone (wing)
West Brunswick - Perkins (fwd)
Old Paradians - Doherty (mid)
From the games i watched the big ruckman from Preston (name escapes me) was very dominant. Can only speak from the games I've seen, but a few opposition players worth consideration
