Not a lot of chatter from last weeks finals which says to me that both teams were worthy winners & challengers!! From the terraces of City Oval The Friars threatened to blow the game wide apart last week but the Grammarians were up for it.

Games don't get any easier as the finals progress so expect that OP's will be spoiling for the contest. After watching them twice this year they are a well drilled team who deservedly lead the pack for the majority of the season only to get some speed wobbles at the pointy end. Both teams have cracking onballers and fitness is about the same so don't think the wide expanses will have as much impact as last week. No doubt Boundy plays and that sounds the warning bells for the Friars however last weeks game was won with the Friar Backline standing tall and with some strong players returning it will be the difference at Highgate tomorrow.

I went to a metro game yesterday with the naughty alcohol stuff and there wasn't any of that.

No need to ban spectators, just ensure umpires and tribunals take appropriate action when players are king hit behind play and you won’t have issues with crowds getting upset

It’s called coward punching and Whitefriars had a young player king hit knocked unconscious off the ball in the goal square and the rest speaks for itself!! Anyway courtesy of video footage the VAFA and police will determine where it goes from here!!

That's terrible...just seems out of character for both clubs.
Surely goal umpire would have seen something !.
