Gaaah, vafa site off to a good start with the final scores. When I did them last night they had a win for WB, its been updated since. Off to do a full recalculation!

On a sad note though - it looks like WB may have lost a player to an ACL. Never like to see season ending injuries for ANY player and hope it's not a reco for him.

WB very well represented at the ground and post match in the rooms after a close, tough game in the seniors and being far too good in the twos.

We were very happy to pinch the 4 points (seniors) in the end against a good side and club.

Anyone have a report on the Cobras vs Bullants game?

Two sides that probably haven't played against each other in quite some time (if ever)? Considering Bulleen Templestowe have been in higher divisions for some time opposed to the Cobras, seems like a really poor result for them in this game.

Does it look like they yet again can drop another division?

GE had a good day seniors, Reserves and thirds all won by over 100 pts. U19 draw but bad news the captain broke his leg. Best wishes for his recovery.

Impressive effort by MH today. They were very quick, well organised and had options aplenty up forward. One of those days where it didn't feel like we lost by 10 goals but the scoreboard doesn't lie. Our lads didn't stop trying though, which was one of the few positives for the day. Early days I know, but MH look to be one of the sides that can really challenge if that play that way all year.

Hard to get a read on the year so far, where YV comfortably beat Aquinas last week, yet this week the former got absolutely torched by GE, and the latter did the same to BT. Are GE that good, or did YV just have one of those days ?

A worry for YV is lack of depth in the reserves. Seniors were well held. Last time we played YV in 2019 there was a huge crowd of followers, very few yesterday. Can't believe they flogged Aquinas. Big game at Aquinas v GE next Saturday. Good, friendly club to visit.
