Anyone have a report on the Cobras vs Bullants game?
Two sides that probably haven't played against each other in quite some time (if ever)? Considering Bulleen Templestowe have been in higher divisions for some time opposed to the Cobras, seems like a really poor result for them in this game.
Bullen Templestowe played against Bulleen united in 1977
Didn't you play in that one ugly?BT last played Bulleen United (as they were known then) back in 1976. Fair gap. Didnt see the game thou - Cheers
No. But I remember being petrified of you in 1991Didn't you play in that one ugly?
Did you see last week's game Derm? If so, were Manningham impressive or were you blokes a bit below normal? No. But I remember being petrified of you in 1991

Got lucky with Rock, Scissors, Paper selections me thinks. #GoHoers
Impressive effort by MH today. They were very quick, well organised and had options aplenty up forward. One of those days where it didn't feel like we lost by 10 goals but the scoreboard doesn't lie. Our lads didn't stop trying though, which was one of the few positives for the day. Early days I know, but MH look to be one of the sides that can really challenge if that play that way all year.
Hard to get a read on the year so far, where YV comfortably beat Aquinas last week, yet this week the former got absolutely torched by GE, and the latter did the same to BT. Are GE that good, or did YV just have one of those days ?
Glen Eira look to be the early standout. Aquinas, Yarra and MHSOB are probably the main challengers.GE had a good day seniors, Reserves and thirds all won by over 100 pts. U19 draw but bad news the captain broke his leg. Best wishes for his recovery.
forgot to tip, I'll go early
I'll be wearing number 62. You won't struggle to catch meGetting in early this week so I can focus on my game prep for my playing come back!!
Glen Eira look to be the early power team after the first 2 rounds - just a little too good for Aquinas in a tight one
Yarra v West Brunswick - WB to get the chocolates in this one.
Manningham v MHSOB - flip of the coin I feel as at Cobras home ground, but I like the Unicorns this year as a top two team. MHSOB to win.
Bulleen Temp v Powerhouse - both need the win - another flip ...... House to win.
Parade v Ivanhoe - always a tight contest, especially at The Garvey. Hoes to win by under three goals.
* Parade v Ivanhoe Legends Game (following the senior game) ....... A DRAW!!! plus ...... a dozen hammy's, Ciavola reported for whacking me, BoG Chump..... and 1000 after match beers for a great cause.

Have a good weekend all, no injuries.

(Far from a "Legend" by the way. Feel a bit embarrassed playing with some genuine legends of the OPs. I slot comfortably into simply a "past player").
Well i was only hoping to lock in one, but any help i can get to "earn" a kick will be welcomeSame here Mappa ..... past player sits better with my footballing prowess.
Now what's this I hear you have called in a father/son umpiring combination for the legends game with a solid connection to OP's as an ex-student? I will be watching the free kick count LOL.
Should be a great event.
Chump.
