Tough week for the House, reserve game called off due to insufficient numbers. Covid + 1's players resulted in 10 plus changes and meant the 2's had to step up. The boys that did play accounted themselves very well considering the circumstances.

Onto next week as the club looks to match the improved results the club has shown of late.
Good luck to the House. Hopefully you can get some numbers back and continue your improvement.

Not sure where Chumpy Champ is (must be cold these days for rough sleeping at Hoe Park!) but will put in my tips as follows.

The House to bring 20+ players back to just sneak over the line against the ailing Bullants at home
Hoers to beat Aquinas at Aquinas. (not sure which ground Aquinas will use)
Yarra just over Manningham who have improved with return of some old guns
Parade to travel and win against Melb High.
West Brunswick to turn tables on Nobs at their dung heap!

Brainy Tim rumours that he was last seen busking in the NYC underground.

Ha Ha Ha - Nice work Brainy (and I see Wamba and Unit) have jumped in also. But I can confirm that I am not sleeping rough at Hoe park and find myself in WA again for 'work'.

Some big games happening this week that will shape finals opportunities and relegation scenarios. All are tough games to pick winners and IF anyone gets 5 this week - hats off to you.

House v BT - what a match up and so very important for the House. If the information is to be believed they will get a bevy of players back this week and are at home. The Ants have stalled and last weeks loss to the Cobras showed as much about their season slowing as it did the Cobras improvement. House for the win.

Aquinas v Hoers - very close game at Hoe Park last time and never an easy game this time of year out there on the Collage mud pits. I think this will be a tight affair and a slog with the Hoers to have enough scoring capability to get the win.

Brunswick v WB - massive game in terms of a top two finish you would think. Brunswick have been a touch off the past two, but do have more returning to re-settle their team down again and will be tough to beat. That said, WB are playing some very, very good football right now. I think Brunswick will get back on track and get the win at home.

Yarra v Cobras - Yarra a strong win against a depleted House last week, but they have some quality forwards and will give the Cobras defence some headaches. Cobras get a few back and look a lot better than earlier in the year and will get the win.

MHSOB v Mappas Mob - wow wee! The lid may not be off at the Garvey, but they are VERY up and about, don't worry about that. Had a good chat during the week to a mate of mine involved at OP's and they are very confident that finals action awaits this Raiders team. Well you would think THIS game is the one that goes a long way to determining that. The Unicorns were in it until 3/4 time with us last week and their best competes with everyone. Some key outs remain for the unicorns though and so I think Mappas Mob can get the 4 points.

Have a great day at the footy all

Very happy to win well out at Ringwood and continue some pleasing development for the senior team. Ash was in great form with 8 majors, but the contribution from several guys who have not been regular senior players over past years was huge.

West B and Parade continue VERY good form in recent weeks as the positioning for finals action heats up even more.

Toot toot - everyone's jumping on Mappa 😉

I personally think Hoers are a class above everyone else, the recruits from last year to this year have them miles in front on the field - watching Billy Drake and think why the hell is he not at a prem club

I feel extremely thankful it's one of the very few times that a Divisional club has had a 'win' and it has not lost another talented player to a Prem team ..... again! #somanytimes

Chuck in Viv, Selwood, Ash, plus Schultz, and the recruiting / list development over the past couple of years gets an A+.

Mappster, have you seen that pies VFL team has a bye next weekend??

Mappas Mob v Aquinas - at the Garvey it's very, very hard for ANYONE to win and this week will be no different for the men from Ringwood. OP's are equally the form team of the last 7 rounds and big wins against top 4 teams see them looking at a top two finish. The form of Cafari, the Nolan(s), Bellizia and Daminato (competition B&F smokey) see Whitchers Warriors very well placed at this time of year.

Ivanhoe v Yarra - back at home the Hoers will be looking to continue the recent winning streak and keep pushing for a top two finish. Although missing several key players due to HS protocols and unavailability, I expect we can get the win done at home against a team that has traditionally given us a lot of trouble.

Manningham v MHSOB - the cobras will we eyeing the recent drop off in form of the unicorns as a 'chance' to pinch a win against a higher ranked opposition. But with so much on the line for the Unicorns I cant see them letting this one slip, if they do, it's season done and top four set with only the confirmed starting positions for finals action to be determined for season 2022.

West v House - The West machine keeps building nicely and with the home ground advantage I cant see this being close. West to calk up another 4 points and keep the battle for top two very hot!

Ants v Brunswick - both sides have lost their early season form in more recent times and for one of them that will turn around again this Saturday. Whilst the Ants best is very competitive (and at home) I will again pick Brunswick, apologies if it's becoming a curse, who must get it done if they wish to lock in finals action and still make a play for a top two finish.

Stay healthy and enjoy the footy this weekend.

great to see you back living rough at Hoe Park Chumpy Cham

Have to agree with all your tips as pretty much all 1 sided.

Hoes to defeat Yarra
MHSOB to def Bulleen United Cobras
Brunswick to defeat Bulleen Temp
Parade to def Aquinas
Westies to def the House
