canterbury losing 10-15 players from last year due to retirements and player wanting to play snr football
stright back down in season 2016 i would say
The PocketRocket is ok. He just had a moment of madness. He's left the snakepit this year to play back over his side of town with his old mates. Nice to catch up with you Solar at the practice game yesterday.Following the form line of recent Premiers from D4. Even after "losing a few players", I think its safe to say Canterbury will be more than competitive in D3. Its not Premier A champ.
The gap between the top few D4 clubs and the mid table D3 sides isnt big at all.
You seem like a really positive person.
With a chip on their shoulder perhaps.
I could be wrong but I dont think they will be back down in D4 in a hurry.
There is a 2016 threadSince there's no 2016 thread I'll tack on to here.
Tips round 1:
Elsternwick v SMD Elsternwick to come back to D3 and push to go straight back up
Glen Eira v Albert Park Too good v Glen Eira
Parkside v Canterbury No idea about either of these so home side
Hawthorn v La Trobe Hawks easy, the team to beat this year
Powerhouse v Aquinas Should be more polished and quick this early in the year. The other team to beat.
Swinburne v UHSVU Having their season launch Thursday night instead of training so obviously going to be too good
Good luck to all sides.
Oh Dear.There is a 2016 thread
