Should do all Australian div 3 sideI've been a bit bored now footy has finished and I had a think about who in my opinion was the best player I've played against at the current D3 clubs.
North Brunswick - Joe Boudoloh
St Johns - Corey Ely or Dan Cattolico
Power House - Paul Edwards or David Burnside
Canterbury - Scott Fitzgerald
Richmond Central - David Speakman or Seb Angus
Swinburne University - Atilla Yaman
Albert Park - "Cowboy" Bennett or Sam Lee
Box Hill North - Dan Penny
La Trobe University - Stuart Patten
Eley Park - David Payne or Mick Viola
Chadstone - Francisco George
An interesting exercise. Who have you go
I can sense a promoter's dream here-pick All Aussie D3 and then challenge the AFLW A/A team to a showdown.Yes,i can hear all the cries of "what would that prove"_answer is absolutely nothing but it would be an invaluable benchmarking exercise!!Should do all Australian div 3 side

Had the year offSam Lee was a jet, where is he playing this Season?
Surely would be eligible for Showdown Match selection???Had the year off
Some interesting stats.
Not one of the bottom 6 teams -Swinburne Uni , La Trobe Uni, Albert Park, Box Hil North, Eley Park and Chadstone defeated a top 5 side all year.
St John’s has a 29 point differential for and against (93 to 64) over the top 5 sides.
North Brunswick and Powerhouse differential is 14 points.
Canterbury differential is 5 points.
Richmond Central differential is minus 60 points against the other finalists.
Canterbury had 12 players named tomorrow who played in the preliminary final last year.
Good luck to all of the sides and may the better team win.
As usual iDon you are on the moneySo it was like there was a D3 and D4 split the whole year. Colour me surprised.
with bulleen temp leaving, might only be one up this year with one coming down (wattle park?), dunno if they'd send aquinas down who finished 8th.Some interesting stats.

2 would go up from D3 to make D2 an even 10 sides. 1 would come down from D2 - WP, who've been pretty competitive this year, and full credit to them looking to push themselveswith bulleen temp leaving, might only be one up this year with one coming down (wattle park?), dunno if they'd send aquinas down who finished 8th.
True, good call, with jocs/NB likely to leave it gives the former D4 clubs a bit of a break2 would go up from D3 to make D2 an even 10 sides. 1 would come down from D2 - WP, who've been pretty competitive this year, and full credit to them looking to push themselves

Not counting keysboroughJOCS are a D4 side!
Good game of local footy big crowd yesterday both sides had a crack just wondering did the young umpire umpiring get in jocs best players? Not counting keysborough
Powerhouse only have themselves to blame - missed a bunch of easy chances in the second half.
Expecting the JOCS 2s to make light work of the Snakes ressies, who are destined for yet another choke job.
Don’t think they can drop players to the 2smight be a little harder now that the snakes 1s are out, expect a few of the guys to drop back down to the 2s.
If they have qualified and not played too many senior games they definitely canDon’t think they can drop players to the 2s
