Congrats to the Cobra’s, well done to blossom in the finals and take home the ultimate cup, as for the St. John’s lads, will have to try again next year but with promotion and a lot of the players retiring or moving onto other clubs could be a very very dire year in div 2.

Again congrats cobras and Richmond amo’s well done!

None that I can disclose atm as I promised, but yeah 10+ or so hanging the boots up and a lot of the reserves side to look to play at another club, will be very difficult to field both sides, will need to go heavy on recruiting again.
IS THERE POSSIBILITY OF A KEYSBOROUGH AND JOCS MERGER ON THE CARDS? LET ME KNOW.

My sister's boyfriend used to play for Masala and he was saying there is talks of a merge with the JOCS. Not sure what Div that would be if that's the case.

Also big fan of teriyaki sauce so appreciate the picture BL

Those 2 clubs merge and go into D4 by themselves

Im assuming they are back in div 3 next season after fielding two teams in the 3rds
You’d hope so, but I think it was a really weak move to do so and I don’t belive they’ve got genuine intention of having divisional football. Would be good if they commented here to give the people an answer. I also don’t appreciate the carry on in their social media when they play 3s, p1$$ weak.

Eley and chadstone put up with getting smoked most weeks, they should have too. I wanna know how both Chaddy/EP games chaddy won by 50+ and still finished below them lol, EP somehow won 3 games.

I dont reckon VAFA let it slide next year. Only if they only have enough for one.

Mentone panthers could be interesting

10 teams is good number for a division. Removes the bye and leave Masala to rebuild.

Local Hadfield supporter here, walked down to see the 3 finals.
Canterbury deserving of the flag being the most consistent, however the best quarter I saw where of the North Brunswick team against the JOCS until the JOCS went the knuckle and sucked them in.

JOCS on GF day didn’t look much chop and unsure of the hype unless they got through the season relying on there unbravery bullying approach and on the big stage couldn’t rely on there football skills.
Canterbury looks like a lot of old mature heads, what will there season look like in div2 next year?
Reading through the thread, also looks a lot of JOCS could be moving on, hopefully get some quality players rather than Keysborough bullies.

Hit the nail on the head :), all I’ve heard from the Jocs this year is bad selections, bad culture, bad behaviour and bad attitude, I’ll let the mass exodus do the talking 😂💀
