Do Richmond Tigers Hold?

Just been watching the Tigers last few games, and it seems like they hold the man a lot in close.

It cost them the game tonight with Rance holding Franklin all game.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Massive troll thread. Sydney get away with a huge amount of holding off the ball. Not to mention way they can get away with (without giving away a 50) when the opposition takes a mark.

Yeah no. Buddy should have had ten from frees alone.

I love how people quote the free kick count as if that determines how good or bad the umpiring was.
Why do you love it? Statistical evidence that shows the influence of the umpires.... Or do you prefer to use the braindead method of judging a whole games umpiring on one poor error?

Why do you love it? Because it's statistical evidence to back up a statement? Or do you prefer to use the braindead method of judging a whole games umpiring on one poor error?
Because non-frees like the Richards one do not get represented in the stats, neither do 50s. It also tells you absolutely nothing about whether the free kicks were correct.

It's really not a difficult concept

Holding is one of the biggest blights on the game.

There is absolutely no reason why one player actually needs to have his hands on another player except in the process of tackling, particularly if a player is nowhere near the ball.

I'll only concede that a player is allowed to hold his ground, but otherwise it is a push, a hold or an impediment that is unfair.

SM's face while posting this.
