Is true, will wait and see how the season unfolds. Having Darling stand up last season in Kennedy's absence, in addition to Coxanui combining for 40+ goals last season helped us big time.

I'm actually still trying to figure out how the Swans won the grannie this year...Bolton, Mumford non factors and Goodes and Ted Richards on one leg and they still got up..... it certainly wasn't their forward line that got them over the line.

Reid is the interesting one...... Has he reached peak? or does he take the next step and become something in the area of Pav. from Fremantle..... Tippet is over rated but still good enough to get hot in the finals....thats what you got to hope for Swans fans....

We may have overpaid for Tippett, but to say that Lynch was a far better pick up just shows come rose coloured and completely jaded Adelaide supporters have become towards Tippett.

3 of those games were affected by his concussion (subbed out early)
then it took him a couple of weeks to gain confidence in himself, only human nature that he was a bit hesitant going into contests. As you can see from the hitout stats tippett spent alot more time up the ground doing ruck work.
Also tippett is 25 compared to lynch 30 (?) ofcourse you are not going to pay a 30 yr old (who isnt a star) as much as a 25 yr who has 6 yrs left compared to 2 yrs for lynch. NOt too sure if lynch had an injuries problems in 2012
