No I don't, its good to have a break from the actual games.. there is always discussion all off season to keep things interesting. Its good to get a break from the banter that goes too far. I can start to follow people who I unfollow on fb during footy season (port fans) can have lunch at work without it turning into a crows/port fight. I enjoy off season.. plus I follow cricket and the Aleague which keeps me entertained.

I enjoy the break usually, October is no mans land waiting for the Cricket and NBA to get rolling. Once trade period is done it's basically a summer of puff pieces about draftees, people 'training the house down' and a couple of players in strife for getting in a scuffle while out on the tonk.

It's sad I know but to some football is their entire life .

It's pretty easy when you have endless matches on dvd or backed up on hard drives that you can go back to. I have the last few seasons worth of Hawthorn games and other "neutral team" games I can watch at any time I want. I have every AFL grand final on dvd I can watch if I feel the need to (or I could just watch 13/14/15 endlessly lol).

Mail them to St Agnes Post office cheers!

You don't miss footy when you pick apart the trade period and draft like I try to. My life is an all consuming football fire haha. A break from the games is good, however after the rabbit in the headlights moment that was Grand Final day I really do wish next season and redemption was closer

Soccer both Australian and English, Matador Cup before the Test series in November and the Spring Racing Carnival are my current sporting enjoyments. And the Wallabies

1082 NBA regular season games start next week, this is after the 90 odd preseason games we're in now, then the playoffs go for almost two months.
I'm set, my body is ready. By the time the basketball finishes up it's round 7 lol.

It feels good to be able to say yes with some conviction. The off season is a ****ing eternity.

It's handy being a fan of the round ball. Season goes forever. Somewhere between what we have and what the EPL has would be a happy medium to get the right amount of fix.

Nope. I rather enjoy the break! Also means I'm more out and about in the great weather, rather than sitting at home in front of the idiot box.

Bathurst, then A-League, Spring Racing, Tennis and welcome back Football! All with Christmas and summer weather thrown in the middle.

Come February I'm starting to itch.

There's too much sport accessible year-round now for anyone who wants to watch to say "Grrr I'm bored!".

It's not 2000 when the 5 FTA channels showed dick all, most people were on dial-up, and Foxtel really was overpriced and aired probably 20% of what it does now.

The offseason means the NFL, NBA, Cricket, NBL, Euro Football (La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, EPL, Bundesliga, UCL, UEL), A-League, Tennis in the New Year and Spring Racing/Perth Racing/Magic Millions/Sydney Autumn carnivals for me.

After the Super Bowl, I start to get into the AFL by planning my AFL Fantasy team, ordering my Prospectus (late Dec) and joining leagues for the long season ahead until the end of September.

My beloved Packers are doing well and are 6-0 heading to the bye come week 7. We are flying in the NFC after last year's NFC Championship collapse.
