The best thing is in 20 odd years we’re gonna see another Bont running around without a doubt, get breeding son
There could be another 30 Bailey Smith's running around before then if the amount of young ladies on insta all follow through with their requests....😜

Its a shame he left a few relatively easy ones out on the field.

If there was any doubt he's arrived in a big way and will only get better from here.
And there seems to be a real camaraderie between him, Naughty and Flea. None of them are leaving anytime soon. Bookmark it

Just hope we keep winning like that and don't drop a game to hawks or Eagles, which is what could happen with us. Would undo all the good work. Great effort last night, play like that and we shouldn't drop another game.

Wow, probably nearly 20 non scores too, considering he goes at about 35%

That’s a crazy amount of shots on goal, a league average 55% has him sitting at 45+ in his 3rd year, with 3 games to go (against 2 of the bottom 3 teams too)
I think he's still tracking ahead of where Buddy was at the same age. If someone has a comparison it would be good to see

Bevo has consistently referenced the Freo game in Round 6 as the way we want to play.

A memorable game for the style and emphatic nature of the win and JJ's Mrs post game Roaming Brian interview

Line up for that Freo game below

Spot the difference

Poulter for Baker
Smith for McLean
West for Jones

That was Franklin's 4th season not 3rd
The question was comparing Buddy when he was the same age as Jamarra, which was 2008 (albeit with a 3 month gap). Buddy was kicking 3.3 goals/game the year prior.

Streets ahead still, which is fine because Buddy was a generational player in the truest sense of the word. As good as he's going there's just no way we could say JUH is tracking as ahead of him.

It was enjoyable for the fact that we attacked with purpose.
I'm pretty sure Richmond has put cue in the rack though. First half was witches hats with no name players.
Good easy kill. JOD, Poulter were good. Still concerned with Baz's form. Jones back is huge for us.
The way Richmond played early had more to do with coming off a really tough game against Melbourne, combined with a 5 day break and missing 3 key players in Cotchin, Martin and Grimes. They just couldn't keep up with our running game.

Coming off such a disappointing loss in Ballarat, I thought the boys would come out fired up, and ready to shop early - the Tiges just couldn't / wouldn't do the hard yards to match us. As a consequence, the result was a fait d'accompli by 1/4 time.

What a difference Jones makes. So important.

Marra could be the best forward in the game by 2025
Honestly it could be 2024. He’s 3rd in the league in marks inside 50 and 11th in total score involvements across the league. He just generates a significant amount of scores and scoring positions.

Marra isn’t just a mark and goal player either, he has a very well rounded forward game already. If he’s kicking 50-60 goals with the rest of his game, it puts him in the conversation.

Speaking to another supporter last night he commented on how many supporters say Bev can’t kick the ball for goal and how sone simple misses change the perception of his coaching and many say if we had kicked the easy goals etc etc we would be in a different situation but the same point is not afforded to Spangher

If JUH, Naughton and couple of others had a better conversion would we look upon Spangher forward coaching differently?

Thought was interesting point
