As much as I hate to change a winning team, I think if we made a few adjustments we could improve even further. Suckling, Dale and Lloyd out. Weightman/West and Lipinski in, as well as either Young (depending on desired height). Longer term Wood instead of either Young, but dont think we are too far away from our best side.
FB: Young, Keath, Williams
HB: Crozier, Cordy, Johannisen
C: Macrae, Bontempelli, Richards
HF: Lipinski, Naughton, McLean
FF: Weightman/West, Bruce, Wallis
FOL: English, Dunkley, Smith
INT: Daniel, Vandermeer, Liberatore, Jong
Imagine if someone told you start of this year that Vandermeer and Jong might be part of our actual best 22. Insanity, but neither looks out of place so far.

Even crazier that Lloyd is now spudding it up this much

Last week I said that Bevo needed to get his act together. He heard me. :) Actually, I enjoyed the game. even performance. Smith is a gun and the structure was great. Love Jonge again. He has improved. Hope he keeps it up. Our kicking needs to improve. Great convincing victory defeating a group of plastic clowns.

Next weeks changes:

Out: Vandermeer, Lloyd/Dale
In: Lipinski, Weightman

I think Vandermeer will be a player of the future but I think these changes will balance our team up.

Am I the only one worried about what happens if Baz ever cuts a single lock of that magnificent mange?

To my mind there are only two circumstances it should be permitted - in 2025 after he wins his 4th Dogs premiership or if he requests a trade (in which case we wax him)

Can we make this a contract term and throw him all the money he likes provided he abides?

He's growing it out of annoyance at his high school's strict rules around haircuts. High school resentment can simmer for a very long time, so I imagine he'll keep the locks for a while to come. Don't want him to do a Samson.

GOOD

Daniel, Keath, Crozier and Williams were absolutely brilliant down back. The latter 3 are surely locks for our best defence going forward. Daniel saw an important return to form after a disappointing start to the season. Cordy did well, just not on their level.

Bailey Smith is incredible. Lock him in ASAP because he's not far behind where blokes like Judd were at his age. He's our best midfielder right now on form in 2020, and would be leading the best and fairest.

Jong has really taken this opportunity and forced his spot in this side. He looks like a whole new player. Far less mistakes, and shows a desperation for the ball that few others on the list have.

McLean's return was long overdue, and he did some really good things.

Libba is the heart and soul of this team. We would never cop a thrashing like we did Round 1 so long as Libba is in the side. I don't remember him being such a good user of the footy, but I don't think I saw a single bad disposal from him.

English did much better. Lost the hitouts once again, but easily offered substantially more than Jacobs around the ground. Still think he could use help, but this was a huge improvement on the first two rounds.

Naughton and Bruce didn't hit the scoreboard apart from a single behind, but both did their jobs well. I was happy enough with their performances. Mitch Wallis was really good there.

Richards didn't see a lot of the ball, but every touch had big impact. A great kick, used his pace well and made good decisions. Very happy with him this week. Vandermeer did some really good things too. I'm happy to see him keep his spot for a little while, he's showing great signs.

BAD

Dale, Lloyd and Suckling have all fallen off a cliff this year. I'd rather have minimal changes this week, but these 3 are in danger. Sucklings kicking was just mindblowingly bad. I've never seen such a bad game from him. I'd like to think he's just a bit rusty, but I worry about him honestly.

I think it's about time that Lloyd comes out for Dickson, West or Weightman. He offers absolutely nothing
I'm glad you mentioned Jong, his last two games have been great. We slam his errors but he deserves some credit for the way he's played the last two weeks. If he can keep it up, he will remain best 22. Speed and great contested marking as well as a big body around the ground.

..or does he just not want to go to the barber during the pandemic ? Bont knew about the pandemic 3 years ago.

8 kicks and 1 handball for 314m gained tonight. He makes good decisions, is quick and uses the ball well. Has some mongrel in him as well.
I would just like him to get more of it.
One of the best goals ever hahahaha :)

Nothing better than seeing Caleb Daniel rag doll and hold down a KPD. I'm embarrassed for the guy

Jeremy Cameron is an absolute fraud.

Spent the entire 2016 Preliminary Final gobbing off like an ass clown and barely had a touch all game.

Spent tonight gobbing off like an ass clown and barely got a touch - got one cheapie goal from a turnover from us and did **** all otherwise.

He’s probably also still cleaning the huge brown stain in his underpants from his effort in the Grand Final last year.

**** him, and **** the “giants”.

I don’t know about all of you but I don’t care if we don’t win another game for the season. As long as we won this one.

Watch Brucey at the start of this video. Went in seeing red. That's what I ******* love about this guy

Shaw's a nutbag. His eyes at the last stouch looked like he was goddamn possessed.
