Now that is harsh FT.
I have plenty of doubts with him as well , but he does have some ability.
At the moment he has Adams, Hamling ahead of him. Give it another month and we are hopeful Collins will go ahead of him too.

But yes. I was probably being a little harsh on him. He has done a better job in the past than Tahlia at times.

Has Toby McLean found out he is a distant cousin to Ashton Hams
and the Selwoods, something about his game style has changed
this year and not for the better. #putahelmetonnextweek.
I don't think it's something that has changed, winning frees is something you have our you don't and he has it and has since he walked in to the club. Good skill to have when the other team is piling on pressure as it's a pressure release. Love the way he plays.

I'm not worried about the club or players getting ahead of themselves. I am concerned about all the self congratulating going on here though, a few posters getting ahead of themselves :p

You might be right JAMES B 101 he may have lowered his height to draw
a free kick last year that would explain the shoulder injury he suffered to
that brute of manhood Dylan Buckley.o_O

Don't worry wait until the 1st loss and PLAYER X MUST NEVER PLAY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

What was it, through your media work, that made you think he wouldn't make it? I caught a couple of his games at Sydney and he always gave good run. Was pleased when we got him for free.
A very timid young man with questionable skills and not a great deal of drive or desire. Has turned it around 100%.

I was surprised at how many Scraggers were upset with the waxing to ice the last few minutes of the clock. We're 10 goals up, no need to expend any further energy unnecessarily when the opponents have no capacity to a) win the footy of us b) influence the result if we make an error. There are times where it is OK to chip it around and hang onto the ball, that is one of them.

Perhaps instead of whinging, pretend you are an Argentinian soccer fan and OLE every pass. It'll be better for your blood pressure.
I was a bit frustrated at first given the clock and the adrenaline, but St Kilda did nothing to stop us at all. They didn't press, they just stood back and let us ice it for about five minutes plus. It was pretty pathetic, really.

I took it as a big win. We broke them. They battled hard most of the night, were physical and aggressive, occasionally dirty and by the last quarter they looked up and thought, we're no good here. Took a knee and bowed before their superiors.

How awesome was that Spear Pass from half back by Suckling to the running JJ to set up that fast break goal by Picken !

Just an awesome kick by Suckers !~

He is unbelievable to watch in the warm ups. Doesn't miss a kick. His partner stands about 40 metres away and pumps the ball in his general direction; Suckling just wheels around and lazily hits him lace out. Everything just looks so easy.

Don't think anyone's mentioned liam Picken. I thought he played brilliantly. Would have had mark of the year had he held onto it. He's just the quiet achiever who consistently works without kudos, but was especially impressed with him last night. We should call him BHP.

Was going to post the same . Just not enough love for this bloke, so underrated.

Not sure where I should've posted this but anyways, just wanted to say that I take back everything I said about Johanniesen (which is probably not much although I did once choose Shaun Atley over him in a BF poll and called them both spuds). He is an out and out WEAPON, **** I didn't realise he was such a good kick. That play where he stole the hand ball and sprinted up field before hitting Stringer lace out was absolutely scintillating. A thousand apologies JJ and Doggies fans, I'm a believer now. I envy your side so much haha.

Was a little off last week, a lot of nearly moments but it was going his way a bit more last night. Wallis also a bit better this week, Macrae not as good. Macrae will be back to himself next week though. Get the feeling Bont is wandering around in first for a lot of the match. Steps it up when the game is on the line. So long as we are all firing next week I'm fine with it all.

Obviously very happy at the mo even if sloppy at times last night. Bit of the sloppy stuff last week 2 but that is being picky. Don't want to be sloppy next week, the Hawks wont let us get away with it like the Saints did. One concern is with Dahl, lost all composure with the ball, disposes immediately he gets it like a hot potato. Anyone else notice?

Loved suckling's kick to JJ, watched JJ take off and he was the only player at that set kick who worked to position, basically every other player on the ground was having a breather.

Thats it though, someone has an off day and someone else steps up, the opposition can't shut them all down.

Yep, he's doing really well, and he will need to keep it up. Campbell was very good yesterday and Big Will got better as the game wore on.
Good they did well in the VFL but neither have produced the standard of Roughy in the last two games at AFL level that I can remember in the last couple of years ...... not often anyway. Maybe Willy in the final v Adelaide.

If it wasn't for Fletch we wouldn't have won the VFL GF. We wouldn't have even been in it
