It’s amazing what happens at ground level with this side when there’s height all over the ground and a genuine ruck.

I’ve been critical of Hannan this year but his first half was as well you can play in his role. At ground level, in the air, converting and putting on huge pressure.

Naughton’s value as a forward was shown early, his contested marking completely changes the complexion of the forward line.

The club right might now have the best two players in the comp, Macraes finals series has been daylight ahead of everyone else.

B Smith has found a whole other level this finals series after a patchy season.

I can’t think of a single who didn’t contribute, Cordy, R Smith, Vandermeer, Schache all did their bit.
